    Abstract: This application discloses a physical uplink control channel sending method, a receiving method, and a communication apparatus. The method includes: A terminal device determines a first transmission manner from a plurality of transmission manners including a first non-frequency hopping transmission manner, and sends a PUCCH to a network device in the first transmission manner. The first non-frequency hopping transmission manner is: sending the PUCCH without frequency hopping in a time unit. UCI on the PUCCH includes a first part and a second part, the first part is sent by using an orthogonal sequence whose length is L1, and the second part is sent by using an orthogonal sequence whose length is L2. The UCI is divided into two parts, and is sent without frequency hopping by using orthogonal sequences with a same length or different lengths.

    Abstract: A message transmission method and device relating to the field of communications technologies are described that improve an anti-interference capability in message transmission. The method includes generating a scrambling code according to a scrambling code initialization seed, wherein the scrambling code initialization seed meets the following expression: cinit=R·2a7+P·(nf mod k+1)·2b7 and then scrambling a message according to the scrambling code. The method further includes sending the scrambled message to a terminal on a physical downlink shared channel. Because the first time parameter has different values at at least two different moments, scrambling codes determined at the at least two corresponding different moments are different. Therefore, a possibility at which the base station uses a same scrambling code to scramble a same system message repeatedly in a time period is reduced, so that an anti-interference capability in system message transmission is improved.

    Abstract: Example communication methods and apparatus are described. One example method includes determining a random access preamble by a terminal device. The random access preamble includes six symbol groups. The terminal device determines a frequency location of the random access preamble based on random access configuration information and a preset rule. A frequency hopping interval between a first symbol group and a second symbol group and a frequency hopping interval between a fifth symbol group and a sixth symbol group are equal and are first intervals. A frequency hopping interval between the second symbol group and a third symbol group and a frequency hopping interval between a fourth symbol group and the fifth symbol group are equal and are second intervals. One example method includes generating a first signal by a network device, where the first signal is used to indicate to a terminal device whether there is paging scheduling information on a first paging occasion. The network device determines a first resource based on at least one of a paging configuration parameter, a first parameter set, a terminal device identifier, or a terminal identification code. The network device sends the first signal to the terminal device on the first resource.     Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a random access preamble transmission method and an apparatus. The method includes: obtaining, by a terminal device, a scrambling code sequence, scrambling a random access preamble by using the scrambling code sequence, and sending a scrambled random access preamble to a network device.     Abstract: A monitoring method and an apparatus are provided. The method includes transmitting, by a terminal device, first information based on a first repetition number, where the first repetition number is less than or equal to a second repetition number, and the second repetition number is a maximum repeat transmission number of the first information. The method also includes determining, by the terminal device, a scheduling end moment of the first information based on the second repetition number, where the scheduling end moment of the first information is a transmission end moment of the first information when the first information is transmitted based on the second repetition number.
