    Abstract: This application provide example mobility management methods, access network control devices, and communications systems. One example method includes receiving, by an access network control device, a location area request message of user equipment (UE) through a first station, where the UE is located in a cell managed by the first station. The access network control device can configure at least one location area identity list for the UE based on the location area request message, where the location area identity list includes at least one location area identity, and the location area identity is used to identify a location area. The access network control device can then send the at least one location area identity list to the UE through the first station.

    Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a data transmission method, device, and system, and belongs to the field of communications technologies. The method includes: receiving a data packet sent by user equipment, where the data packet carries indication information used to instruct a base station to establish a specified data connection to the user equipment; generating a first key of the user equipment based on the indication information and a public key of the base station; and performing data transmission with the user equipment based on the first key of the user equipment. According to the data transmission method, the transmitted data can be encrypted and decrypted when there is no radio resource control connection between the base station and the user equipment, thereby improving data transmission security while ensuring data transmission efficiency.

    Abstract: A multi-connectivity communication method includes: a secondary base station receives a first RRC message generated by an RRC entity of an anchor base station and a second RRC message generated by an RRC entity of the secondary base station. The secondary base station sends the first RRC message and the second RRC message to the terminal via an air interface between the secondary base station and the terminal, where a PDCP header, an RLC header, or a newly added adaptation layer carries indication information, the indication information is used to indicate a target RRC entity that generates an RRC message, the target RRC entity is the RRC entity of the anchor base station or the RRC entity of the secondary base station, and the anchor base station and the secondary base station use different radio access technologies.

    Abstract: This application discloses an information transmission method in a communication system. According to the method, a master base station sends a request message to a secondary base station for requesting to transfer one or more flows from the master base station to the secondary base station for transmission to a terminal device. The request message carries one or both of identification information of each flow, and information of a data radio bearer (DRB) associated with each flow. The master base station receives a response message from the secondary base station, indicating whether each of the one or more flows is admitted or rejected by the secondary base station. Based on the identification information of the flows, DRBs are mapped to the flows. QoS management of information transmission is more refined, and requirements of 5G communication systems for QoS management of information transmission in a dual connectivity scenario can be met.

    Abstract: This application relates to the field of wireless communications technologies, and in particular, to a communication method, apparatus, and system. This application provides a communication method. The method includes: a user equipment sends a first message to a secondary base station, where the first message is used to indicate that an exception occurs on a connection between the user equipment and a master base station; and the user equipment receives a second message sent by the secondary base station, where the second message is used to indicate whether to recover the connection to the master base station. This aims to quickly recover the connection between the user equipment and the master base station through interaction between the user equipment and the secondary base station, thereby reducing interruptions of data transmission and/or signaling transmission, and further improving system performance and user experience.
