Abstract: The present disclosure relate to the technical field of secondary batteries, and in particular, to a secondary battery and a top cover component thereof. The top cover component provided by the present disclosure includes a top cover plate having an electrode lead-out hole, and a second sealing portion and a second insulating portion stretching into the electrode lead-out hole, and the second sealing portion and the second insulating portion are at least partially staggered to each other on the radial direction of the electrode lead-out hole and are at least partially overlapped on the height direction. Based on this, a direct discharge clearance can be effectively blocked, and the creepage distance can be prolonged, thereby being conducive to reducing the risk of on fire or explosion and other problems of the secondary battery while withstanding a high voltage.

Abstract: A battery is provided in the present disclosure. The battery includes: a positive electrode plate including a positive current collector and a positive active material layer; a negative electrode plate including a positive current collector and a negative active material layer; and an electrolyte. The positive current collector includes an insulation layer used to support a conductive layer and the conductive layer used to support the positive active material layer and located above at least one surface of the insulation layer. The conductive layer has a thickness of D2 which satisfies: 300 nm≤D2≤2 μm. A protective layer is arranged on at least one surface of the conductive layer. The negative current collector is a copper foil current collector having a thickness of 6 μm to 12 μm.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to the technical field of energy storage, and in particular, relates to a positive electrode, a method for preparing the positive electrode and an electrochemical device. The positive electrode includes a current collector and a positive electrode active material layer that contains positive electrode active material and is arranged on at least one surface of the current collector. An inorganic layer having a thickness of 20 nm to 2000 nm is arranged on the surface of the at least one positive electrode active material layer away from the current collector. The inorganic layer is a porous dielectric layer containing no binder, and the inorganic layer has a porosity of 10%˜60%. The positive electrode active material layer according to the present disclosure significantly improves the cycle performance, high-temperature storage performance and safety of the electrochemical device.

The electrolyte includes an organic solvent, an electrolyte lithium salt dissolved in the organic solvent, and an additive, where the additive is a compound represented by following formula I. The electrolyte can inhibit generation of lithium dendrites in the lithium-ion battery, improve cycle performance of the battery, and also improve flame retardancy of the battery, thereby effectively resolving defects in the existing technology.
