    摘要: A fluidic ejection cartridge is disclosed. The cartridge includes a cartridge body having an upper portion, a lower portion, at least one sidewall, and a hollow cavity within the cartridge body defining a fluid reservoir. The cartridge also includes a cartridge lid disposed over and sealed to the upper portion of the cartridge body, as well as a cartridge bottom plate disposed under and sealed to the lower portion of the cartridge body. A cartridge nosepiece is disposed under and sealed to the cartridge bottom plate. This nosepiece includes at least one fluidic ejection chip in fluid flow communication with the fluid reservoir. According to the present disclosure, the cartridge body, the cartridge lid, and the cartridge bottom are each made from ceramic.

The substrate includes one or more fluid channels and one or more fluid ports each in communication with at least one of the one or more fluid channels. The flow feature layer is disposed over the substrate, and the flow feature layer include one or more flow features each in communication with at least one of the one or more fluid ports. The nozzle layer is disposed over the flow feature layer, and the nozzle layer includes one or more nozzles each in communication with at least one of the one or more flow features so that one or more fluid paths are defined by the one or more fluid channels, the one or more fluid ports, the one or more flow features, and the one or more nozzles. The one or more valves selectively impede flow of fluid through the one or more fluid paths.

    摘要: A fluid ejection device is disclosed that includes a body defining an interior bore, a fluid reservoir, and a fluid ejection chip. The fluid reservoir includes a wall and one or more fluid control surfaces disposed along an interior surface of the wall. The fluid reservoir defines an interior passage in fluid communication with the interior bore of the body. The fluid ejection chip is disposed on the body and comprises one or more fluid ejection actuators. The fluid ejection chip has one or more interior fluid paths in fluid communication with the interior bore of the body so that the fluid ejection chip ejects the fluid upon activation of the one or more fluid ejection actuators. The interior passage of the fluid reservoir, the interior bore of the body, and the one or more interior fluid paths are axially aligned such that the fluid is gravity fed to the fluid ejection chip upon entry into the interior passage of the fluid reservoir. The one or more fluid control surfaces are disposed along the interior passage of the fluid reservoir so that the fluid adheres to the one or more fluid control surfaces.
