摘要: A rotary electric machine includes: a shaft that rotates about an axial direction; a rotor that is disposed around the shaft and that includes a rotor core and a plurality of magnets provided in the rotor core; a stator that is disposed around the rotor and that includes a stator core and a stator coil provided in the stator core; a magnetic flux short circuit plate that is disposed so as to face the rotor core in the axial direction and that moves in the axial direction; a biasing member that biases the magnetic flux short circuit plate to a side away from the rotor core; a holding member that holds the biasing member; and a fixing member that fixes the holding member to the shaft. Further, a strength of a material of the fixing member is higher than a strength of a material of the holding member.

摘要: A permanent magnet motor includes a rotor configured to rotate about a stator axis and having N pairs of permanent bar magnets each arranged therein and in a V-angle configuration defining a V-angle (θ) therebetween and corresponding to one of N rotor poles, wherein N is greater than one. An adjustment system is configured to adjust the V-angle between each pair of the N pairs of permanent bar magnets between at least a first V-angle (θ1) and a different second V-angle (θ2). A controller is configured to control the permanent magnet motor and the adjustment system to (i) mitigate noise, vibration, and/or harshness (NVH) of the permanent magnet motor and (ii) improve efficiency of the permanent magnet motor at high speed operating regions or improve torque of the permanent magnet motor at low speed operating regions.

摘要: An electric machine includes a rotor, a stator, and an air gap formed between a magnetic device of the rotor and the stator. For the selective setting of the air gap, movement devices implemented by piezoelectric stacks are provided on the rotor and/or on the stator. The movement devices may influence radial positions of the respective magnetic device and thus set the radial air gap width. It is thereby possible to exert open-loop and/or closed-loop control over a power or torque of the electric machine without adjusting stator currents. Vibration or unbalance of the rotor may also be counteracted quickly and effectively during operation of the machine.

The stator has poles arranged around the magnetically effective core and each of the poles is delimited by an end face. The rotor is capable of being magnetically driven without contact in an operating state about an axial direction, and is capable of being magnetically levitated without contact with respect to the stator. The rotor is configured to be magnetically levitated in a radial plane and is passively magnetically stabilized in the axial direction against tilting. The magnetically effective core has a rotor height which is a maximum extension of the magnetically effective core in the axial direction, the rotor height being greater than a stator pole height defined by a maximum extension of the end faces in the axial direction.

摘要: A rotating electric machine includes a field system having a magnet section, and an armature having a multi-phase armature coil. The magnet section has easy axes of magnetization oriented to be nearer perpendicular to a q-axis at locations closer to the q-axis than at locations closer to a d-axis, or to be perpendicular to the q-axis at locations on the q-axis. Each phase of the armature coil has electrical conductor sections formed by winding an electrical conductor wire multiply and arranged at positions facing the magnet section and at a predetermined interval in a circumferential direction. The electrical conductor wire includes a plurality of element wires in a radially laminated state and an insulating coat covering the laminated element wires. Each of the element wires has a flat cross section that is longer in the circumferential direction than in a radial direction.
