    Abstract: A removeable window control device in the nature of a vent stop including a housing having a peripheral flange defining an opening, at least one channel, and a pair of opposingly oriented sockets, a bolt including at least one leg, wherein the leg further includes a protuberance and a tab, a cover including a lateral side of substantially similar shape and size of a lateral side of the housing, wherein the cover further includes a pair of opposingly oriented pegs and at least one channel, and a resilient member engaging a conduit defined in the bolt and a back side of the housing to urge the bolt along the channels formed in the housing and cover towards the opening defined by the peripheral flange of the housing. The vent stop is preferably inserted into a frame of a window.

    Abstract: An emergency opening device for a lifting door as well as a lifting door with such an emergency opening device and a method for operating such an emergency opening device are provided. The emergency opening device has a driver, a movement element, an elongate drive member and a locking element. The driver is rotatably mountable on a rotationally fixed inner shaft of a drive device of the lifting door and is configured to be selectively connected to the drive device. The elongate drive member is connected to the movement element and is configured to transmit a movement caused by the movement element to the driver. The movement element is, for example, an elastic element which is pretensioned in a standby position and is configured to relax and to drive the elongate drive member by the released tension energy when the locking element is released.

    Abstract: A closure member (e.g., door) stop includes a base having a top portion opposite a bottom portion, the bottom portion being configured for affixing to an installation point associated with the closure member, a flexure extending away from the top portion, a cushion comprising an angled face and an impact face, the impact face being configured to interface with the closure member during closing of the closure member, and the angled face being configured to interface with the closure member during opening of the closure member. The flexure provides an operable, bendable connection between the cushion and the base. Also, a lever is operably connected to the cushion and the flexure and configured to move the cushion away from a swing path of the closure member. The cushion extends into a swing path of the closure member when the closure member stop is at rest in the installed position.

    Abstract: An articulated hinge assembly for connecting a door to a fuselage of an aircraft includes an articulated hinge arm having a first hinge member pivotably coupled to a second hinge member at an elbow. The first hinge member includes a fuselage fitting pivotably coupled to a fuselage bracket. The second hinge member includes a door fitting pivotably coupled to a door bracket of the door. The articulated hinge assembly includes a linkage assembly coupled to the articulated hinge arm, the fuselage fitting and the door fitting. The linkage assembly includes a hinge linkage assembly coupled to the articulated hinge arm and the fuselage fitting and controlling movement of the hinge members relative to each other and relative to the fuselage fitting. The linkage assembly includes a door linkage assembly coupled to the articulated hinge arm and the door to control positioning of the door between open and closed positions.

    Abstract: An electric door driving mechanism includes a base mount having an accommodation groove, a sliding groove below the accommodation groove and a bottom opening communicated with the sliding groove, a slide slidably moveable in the sliding groove, a door panel mounting member moveable along with the slide, a linear motor having a stator disposed in the accommodation groove, and a mover fixed on the slide and drivenable by the stator to move, and front and rear water-resistant pieces fixed to the base mount and partially abutted with each other to close the bottom opening while a body portion of the door panel mounting member passes between the front and rear water-resistant pieces and has front and rear sides abutted against the front and rear water-resistant pieces, respectively, thereby preventing foreign objects and liquid from entering the inside of the electric driving mechanism via the bottom opening.

    Abstract: A shower door sliding mechanism is disclosed, the shower door sliding mechanism including a track component disposed in a fastening manner, a movable door piece, a pulley component, and a flexible closer component which comprises a fastening bracket and a flexible closer, the track component comprises a track having a longitudinal passage. The longitudinal passage includes a positioning component receiving groove and a sliding groove. A glass clamp component is disposed at a top of the movable door piece, and the top of the glass clamp component is connected to a threaded hole in the pulley component by using an adjusting screw, so that the movable door piece is integrally suspended directly below the flexible closer component and the pulley component. The inner space of the track can be fully utilized to reduce the height of the track and reduce the weight and manufacturing costs of the track.
