摘要: The technology disclosed relates to user interfaces for controlling augmented reality environments. Real and virtual objects can be seamlessly integrated to form an augmented reality by tracking motion of one or more real objects within view of a wearable sensor system using a combination a RGB (red, green, and blue) and IR (infrared) pixels of one or more cameras. It also relates to enabling multi-user collaboration and interaction in an immersive virtual environment. In particular, it relates to capturing different sceneries of a shared real world space from the perspective of multiple users. The technology disclosed further relates to sharing content between wearable sensor systems. In particular, it relates to capturing images and video streams from the perspective of a first user of a wearable sensor system and sending an augmented version of the captured images and video stream to a second user of the wearable sensor system.

摘要: Systems and methods are provided for customizing user interface controls around a cursor. One example method includes receiving, at a computing device, a request to display an indicator menu and identifying at least one user interface element of a program being executed at the computing device. An interaction frequency for each identified user interface element is generated. In response to the request and for each identified user interface element, a spatial relationship between an indicator of the computing device and the identified user interface element is determined. Based on the interaction frequency value and the determined spatial relationship, an element set comprising one or more of the identified user interface elements is generated. The indicator menu comprising at least a portion of the element set is generated for display. The indicator menu is displayed proximate the indicator on a display of the computing device.

摘要: Systems and methods for displaying a virtual reticle in an augmented or virtual reality environment by a wearable device are described. The environment can include real or virtual objects that may be interacted with by the user through a variety of poses, such as, e.g., head pose, eye pose or gaze, or body pose. The user may select objects by pointing the virtual reticle toward a target object by changing pose or gaze. The wearable device can recognize that an orientation of a user's head or eyes is outside of a range of acceptable or comfortable head or eye poses and accelerate the movement of the reticle away from a default position and toward a position in the direction of the user's head or eye movement, which can reduce the amount of movement by the user to align the reticle and target.

摘要: Methods, systems, apparatuses, and computer-readable media are provided for moving a virtual cursor along two traversing virtual planes. In one implementation, the computer-readable medium includes instructions to cause a processor to generate, via a wearable extended reality appliance, a display including a virtual cursor and virtual objects located on a first virtual plane that traverses a second virtual plane overlying a physical surface; receive a first two-dimensional input reflective of an intent to select a first virtual object located on the first virtual plane; cause a first cursor movement, toward the first virtual object, along the first virtual plane; receive a second two-dimensional input reflective of an intent to select a second virtual object appearing on the physical surface; and cause a second cursor movement, toward the second virtual object, including a partial movement along the first virtual plane and a partial movement along the second virtual plane.

摘要: Apparatus transmits an identifier for association with a virtual area by an administering network service, generates output data from human perceptible stimulus in a physical space, transmits the output data in connection with the virtual area, receives input data associated with the virtual area, and generates human perceptible stimulus in the physical space from the input data. A persistent association is created between the apparatus and a virtual area. A respective presence is established in the virtual area for a communicant operating a client network node connected to the virtual area. A respective connection between each active pair of complementary sources and sinks of the client network node and the apparatus are administered in association with the virtual area. A client network node displays a graphical user interface, establishes the administered connections, and presents interaction controls associated with the object for interacting with communicants in the physical space.

摘要: Disclosed is an operating system (OS) discovery mode that identifies and provides access to OS and/or third-party provided features within an applicable region of a desktop. In some configurations, once the discovery mode is activated, the content displayed by the applicable region is analyzed to identify content usable by OS and/or third-party provided features. Visual cues are rendered in the applicable region near the identified content, highlighting the availability of the OS and/or third-party provided features. Users may interact with the visual cues to manipulate the underlying content or to invoke the OS and/or third-party provided features. OS and/or third-party provided features may modify content displayed by an application, launch an inline micro-experience, crop or export images, etc. While in the discovery mode, visual cues are highlighted as a discovery mouse cursor moves around the desktop. In some configurations the discovery mode is triggered automatically, causing an OS service to automatically identify and display a set of entity visual cues across the applicable region.
