    摘要: The present invention relates to a firewood boiler, comprising: a boiler main body including a feeding hole through which wood fuel and air for combustion are fed, a smoke exhaust hole defined in the top thereof so as to be connected to an exhaust pipe, an air inlet defined adjacent to the smoke exhaust hole, and a heating-water store in which heating water is stored; a main opening/closing unit installed on the boiler main body to open and close the feeding hole and selectively supply and block the entry of outside air into the boiler main body when the feeding hole is closed; an auxiliary opening/closing unit for supplying outside air into the boiler main body when the entry of outside air is blocked by the main opening/closing unit; a temperature sensor for sensing the temperature of the heating water; and a control unit for controlling the inflow and blocking of air by means of the main opening/closing unit on the basis of information on the temperature sensed by the temperature sensor. The heating water store is integrally formed along the entirety of the boiler main body, and the auxiliary opening/closing unit maintains a pilot flame for the wood fuel by supplying outside air into the boiler main body when the main opening/closing unit blocks the entry of outside air. Thus, a firewood boiler may be provided that can be safely used for a long period of time without extinguishing a pilot flame.

The heating device contains a heat exchanger having a cylindrical body, tangentially positioned pipes for supplying the cold heat carrier and pipes for discharging the hot heat carrier. The heater having a cylindrical surface is coaxially arranged in the cylindrical body. The heating device contains an expansion tank, binding pipes and heat exchangers. The temperature of the heater is controlled by means of thermocouples. An electric heat source (a resistance helix) is located in the heater. The heating device has a high efficiency of heat transfer from the heater to the heat carrier due to the double phase transition: water-steam-water.

    摘要: An application for a method of heating water includes burning fuel to produce hot gases and heating a first mass of water with a first heat exchanger coupled to the hot gases. Heat remaining after the hot gases pass through the first heat exchanger is used by a second heat exchanger to heat a second mass of water. The first mass of water is partially isolated from the second mass of water and the first mass of water is contained substantially within the second mass of water. The second mass of water is colder than the first mass of water and, thereby, condenses more water vapor out of the hot gases.

    摘要: A catalytic combustion heat exchanger includes a fuel gas passage and a number of tubes, which are located in the fuel gas passage. Fuel gas flows in the fuel gas passage. An object fluid, which is heated by the heat exchanger, flows in the tubes. Fins, which carry a catalyst, are fixed to the outer surfaces of the tubes. The fluid is heated by an oxidation reaction of the fuel gas that occurs on the surface of the fins. When the heat exchanger is initially activated, the controller maintains the flow rate of the object fluid at a relatively low rate until a temperature detector detects that the temperature of the object fluid is higher than a certain level to limit heat transfer from the fins to the object fluid. This increases the fin temperatures throughout the heat exchanger. The controller increases the flow rate of the object fluid when the temperature of the object fluid exceeds a certain level, to increase heat transfer to the object fluid. The control method prevents the fins from overheating and speeds up the initial activation of the heat exchanger.
