    摘要： Cationic polyazo dyestuffs which can be obtained by reacting diaminobenzene derivatives of the general formula ##STR1## wherein R represents hydrogen, C.sub.1 - to C.sub.4 -alkyl, C.sub.1 - to C.sub.4 -alkoxy or halogen,if appropriate in a mixture with up to 30% of aromatic monoamines of the formula ##STR2## wherein R.sup.2 represents hydrogen, C.sub.1 - to C.sub.4 -alkyl, C.sub.1 - to C.sub.4 -alkoxy, halogen or C.sub.1 - to C.sub.4 -acylamino and n represents 1 to 3,with 0.5 to 0.75 mole of a salt or ester of nitrous acid per mole of diamine and then with 1 to 4 moles of an alkylene oxide of the formula ##STR3## wherein R.sup.3 represents hydrogen or an optionally hydroxyl-, alkoxy- or halogen-substituted C.sub.1 - to C.sub.4 -alkyl radical,are used--preferably in the form of their solutions--for dyeing paper, leather and anionically modified synthetic fibres.

    摘要： A compound represented by formula (I): Formula (I) wherein Z1 and Z2 each are atoms necessary for forming an aromatic ring; V1 and V2 each are a substituent W1 or W2; when at least one V1 is W1, at least one V2 is W2, or when at least one V1 is W2, at least one V2 is W1; r is 1 to 4; s is 1 to 4; M1 is a counter ion; m1 is the number necessary for neutralizing charge; W1 is a hydroxyl, primary- or secondary- or tertiary-amino, acylamino, or sulfonamido group; W2 is a nitro, cyano, alkoxycarbonyl, aryloxycarbonyl, alkyl- or aryl-sulfonyl, carbamoyl, sulfamoyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, aryl, heterocyclic, sulfo, carboxyl, heterocyclic oxy, ammonio, alkyl- or aryl-sulfinyl, alkyl- or aryl-sulfonyl, acyl, or aryl- or heterocyclic-azo group; and the aromatic ring may have a substituent other than V1 and V2.

    摘要： Liquid formulations of basic azo dyes are prepared from unsubstituted or C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl- or C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkoxy-substituted m-phenylenediamine by diazotizing and coupling in carboxylic acid solution, which comprises performing the reaction with 0.76 to 0.95 mole of nitrile, calculated as nitrous acid and based on 1 mole of m-phenylenediamine, and then heating the resulting reaction mixture at from 60.degree. C. to the boiling point of the reaction mixture.
