摘要: The present teachings include a transfer member, a multilayer imaging blanket and a variable data lithography system. The transfer member includes a fluorosilicone surface layer. The surface layer includes mixing a first part and a second part. The first part includes a vinyl terminated trifluoropropyl methylsiloxane, an IR absorbing filler, silica and a first solvent. The second part includes an organo platinum complex having vinyl groups, a methyl hydrosiloxanetrifluoropropyl methyl siloxane having hydrosilane groups an inhibitor and a second solvent. The molar ratio of vinyl groups to hydrosilane groups is 0.7:1.0 to about 1.3:1.0 in the mixture. The mixture of the first part and second is coated on a substrate to form the fluorosilicone surface layer.

摘要: Provided herein is a topcoat composition comprising at least one fluorosilicone, a hydride-functional crosslinking agent, an infrared-absorbing filler, and at least one dispersant that is non-reactive with the hydride-functional crosslinking agent, by weight based on a total weight of the topcoat composition, wherein the topcoat composition has a degree of crosslinking between about 10 micrograms/hour/milligrams to about 20 micrograms/hour/milligrams. Further provided herein are methods of making the topcoat composition, as well as an imaging blanket and methods of reducing coating defects on a media coated using the imaging member.

摘要: A coated, printed electronic device may comprise a plurality of contact pads arranged in a pattern, a plurality of electrode traces arranged in another pattern, the plurality of electrode traces comprising a set of bottom electrode traces and a set of top electrode traces, each electrode trace in electrical communication with an associated contact pad of the plurality of contact pads, a plurality of memory cells, each memory cell located at an intersection of a pair of electrode traces of the plurality of electrode traces and comprising a bottom electrode layer formed from a region of one of the bottom electrode traces, a top electrode layer formed from a region of one of the top electrode traces, and a ferroelectric layer between the bottom and top electrode layers, and a protective layer covering the plurality of electrode traces and extending laterally beyond each edge of each electrode trace to provide a buffer zone surrounding each electrode trace, the buffer zone extending from an end of each electrode trace to cover a portion of each associated contact pad in an overlapping region, wherein each contact pad also has at least one uncovered edge.

摘要: Disclosed herein are methods for reducing drooling, wetting or adhesion on a front face of an inkjet printhead configured for ejecting aqueous ink. The methods including disposing an anti-wetting, low adhesion coating onto a surface of the inkjet printhead front face, wherein the anti-wetting, low adhesion coating is a reaction product of a reactant mixture including a triisocyanante and a perfluoropolyether diol compound having an ethyoxylated spacer; and ejecting a drop of an aqueous ink having a surfactant from the printhead, wherein the aqueous ink drop exhibits a contact angle of greater than about 40° and a sliding angle of less than about 30° with a surface of the coating on the inkjet printhead front face.

摘要: The present disclosure is directed to a multilayer imaging blanket for a variable data lithography printing system, including: a multilayer base having a lower contacting surface configured to wrap around or to be mounted on a cylinder core of the variable data lithography printing system; and a platinum catalyzed fluorosilicone surface layer opposite the lower contacting surface; wherein the multilayer base is a sulfur-free carcass including: a top layer including a sulfur-free rubber substrate such as an ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) rubber substrate, a bottom layer including the lower contacting surface; and a compressible layer disposed between the top layer and the bottom layer, the compressible layer being attached to a surface of the top layer opposite the platinum catalyzed fluorosilicone surface layer and a surface of the bottom layer opposite the lower contacting surface, optionally the top layer further comprises a reinforcing fabric layer, the reinforcing fabric layer attached to a surface of the compressible layer opposite the bottom layer.
