Abstract: Various embodiments according to the present invention relate to a power conversion device and method, the device comprising: a converter; a capacitor unit including a plurality of capacitors for storing input voltage input thereto; a switch unit connected to the capacitor unit and including a plurality of switches for selectively connecting at least one capacitor among the plurality of capacitors to the converter; and a controller connected to the capacitor unit and the switch unit, wherein the controller determines at least one capacitor satisfying a specified condition, among the plurality of capacitors, sets at least one switch among the plurality of switches to be turned on, the at least one switch corresponding to the at least one capacitor, and sets at least another switch among the plurality of switches except for the at least one switch, to be turned off, so that the at least one capacitor and the converter are electrically connected and configured to allow at least partial voltage of the input voltage, stored in the at least one capacitor, to be supplied to the converter. Therefore, a power conversion device, disposed on a circuit on which the plurality of capacitors (or cells) is connected in series to a power supply unit, can establish selective connection by using the switch unit, so as to adjust input voltage and provide the adjusted input voltage to the converter, and can reduce switching loss of the power conversion device. Various other embodiments are possible.

Abstract: An electronic device including an organic light emitting display device is provided. The electronic device includes the organic light emitting display device and a display power management integrated circuit (PMIC). The organic light emitting display device includes a display panel including a plurality of gate lines, a plurality of data lines, and a plurality of pixels, and a display driver IC (DDI) for driving the display panel. The display PMIC includes a first regulator that outputs a first voltage changed in magnitude from an input voltage input to the display PMIC, and a second regulator that outputs a second voltage phase-inverted and changed in magnitude from the input voltage.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a voltage conversion circuit including: a plurality of switched capacitors; and a buck converter configured to be alternately applied with a first voltage and a second voltage output from each of two switched capacitors selected from the plurality of switched capacitors and to convert the applied first voltage or second voltage into an output voltage and to provide the output voltage. According to an embodiment, output terminals of each of the plurality of switched capacitors may be selectively electrically connected to an input terminal of the buck converter.

Abstract: An apparatus for supplying power in a mobile terminal is provided. The apparatus includes a battery, a power management integration circuit including a buck-boost converter for converting a battery voltage to output a specific voltage, and a plurality of regulators for regulating the specific voltage output from the buck-boost converter to voltages of respective corresponding constituent elements and for outputting the regulated voltages, the buck-boost converter operating in a buck mode when the battery voltage is greater than the specific voltage, and the buck-boost converter operating in a boost mode when the battery voltage is less than the specific voltage, such that the constituent elements include a controller for controlling an operation of the mobile terminal, a touch panel for generating an input and for providing the generated input signal to the controller, and a display unit for displaying an operation of the mobile terminal under control of the controller.
