Abstract: An electronic device includes: a display layer including a pixel including a pixel driving circuit and a light emitting element, and a sensor including a sensor driving circuit and a sensing element, and displaying an image during a plurality of frame periods; a sensor layer on the display layer and exchanging a signal with an input device and sensing an input by a touch; a fingerprint controller controlling the sensor; and a sensor controller controlling the sensor layer, wherein the sensor is configured to sense a first input by the input device, and a second input by a biometric information, wherein, in response to the sensor layer sensing the signal, the sensor controller transmits a control signal to the fingerprint controller, and wherein the fingerprint controller is configured to provide the sensor controller with information of the first input sensed by the sensor.

Abstract: A display device includes a display panel configured to display an image, an input sensor disposed on the display panel to sense an input and including a first area and a second area, and a sensor controller connected to the input sensor. The input sensor includes first sensing electrodes disposed in the first area, second sensing electrodes disposed in the second area, and a boundary sensing electrode disposed to overlap a boundary between the first and second areas. The boundary sensing electrode forms a mutual capacitor with one or more of the first sensing electrodes that are adjacent to the boundary sensing electrode, and forms a mutual capacitor with one or more of the second sensing electrodes that are adjacent to the boundary sensing electrode.

Abstract: An input sensing device includes a sensor that includes a plurality of first electrodes and a plurality of second electrodes, and a sensor driver that operates in a first sensing mode and a second sensing mode. During the first sensing mode, the sensor driver generates a first sensing signal by transmitting transmission signals to the sensor and receiving reception signals from the sensor. During the second sensing mode, the sensor driver generates a second sensing signal by transmitting the transmission signals to the sensor and receiving the reception signals from the sensor. The sensor driver selects one of a plurality of compensation maps based on the first sensing signal, compensates for the second sensing signal based on the selected compensation map, and outputs the compensated sensing signal.
