    Abstract: A test apparatus includes a mura detection filter for detecting a mura area based on a detected image signal and outputting position information of the mura area and a filtered image signal, an image enhancement processor for performing deblurring on the filtered image signal based on the position information and outputting a deblurred image signal, a mura corrector for generating first compensation data for the mura area based on the deblurred image signal, a sampling corrector for generating second compensation data for a non-mura area based on the detected image signal, and a compensator for outputting compensation data based on the first compensation data and the second compensation data.

    Abstract: A display device include: a display panel including first to third pixels, a data driver for providing first to third data voltages to the first to third pixels, and a scan driver for providing first and second scan signals to each of the first to third pixels. The scan driver performs a first active scan operation of sequentially providing the first and second scan signals to the first to third pixels in a first frame period, and perform a dummy scan operation of sequentially providing the second scan signal to the first to third pixels after the first active scan operation. The data driver changes a voltage level of at least one of the first to third data voltages in an overlap period in which the dummy scan operation and a second active scan operation of a second frame period are simultaneously performed.

    Abstract: A method of generating compensation data for a display device is disclosed that includes measuring a front luminance and a side luminance of the display device, generating a front correction value and a side correction value based on the front luminance and the side luminance, respectively, determining a front background component of the front correction value and a side background component of the side correction value, generating a front background-synthesized side correction value by replacing the side background component with the front background component in the side correction value, and generating the compensation data based on the front correction value and the front background-synthesized side correction value.
