    Abstract: A touch sensor includes first touch electrode members disposed on a base layer and located in a sensing area, each of the first touch electrode members including a plurality of first touch electrodes arranged along a first direction, each of the first touch electrodes including a first opening; second touch electrode members disposed on the base layer and located in a sensing area, each of the second touch electrode members including second touch electrodes arranged along a second direction, each of the second touch electrodes including a second opening; and a first pressure sensor disposed on the base layer and including a first strain gauge. A portion of the first strain gauge is located in the second sensing area, and the first strain gauge includes a portion located in the second sensing area and disposed in the same layer as the first touch electrodes and the second touch electrodes.

    Abstract: A display device includes a display panel; a pressure sensor disposed on the display panel; and a lower bracket. The pressure sensor is disposed between the display panel and the lower bracket and is disposed on the lower bracket. The pressure sensor includes a first substrate, a first pressure sensing layer disposed between the first substrate and the lower bracket, a first driving electrode disposed between the first pressure sensing layer and the lower bracket, and a first sensing electrode spaced apart from the first driving electrode. A gap is present between the first pressure sensing layer, and the first driving electrode and the first sensing electrode.

    Abstract: There is provided a display device including a high-sensitivity touch sensor. A display device includes: pixels arranged in a display region; sensing electrodes arranged in a sensing region; sensing lines coupled to the respective sensing electrodes; a noise detection electrode disposed on the same layer as the sensing electrodes; sensing channels each including a first input terminal coupled to any one of the sensing electrodes and a second input terminal coupled to the noise detection electrode, the sensing channels each generating an output signal corresponding to a voltage difference between the first and second input terminals; and a processor detecting a touch input, using the output signals of the sensing channels.

    Abstract: A touch sensor includes a first electrode, a second electrode, and a sensing channel. The first electrode includes first electrode cells arranged in a first direction, a first connection portion connecting the first electrode cells in the first direction and a first opening disposed in at least one of the first electrode cells. The second electrode includes an electrode portion disposed in the first opening. The electrode portion is disposed on a same layer as the first electrode cells and separated from the first electrode. The sensing channel includes a first terminal and a second terminal. The first terminal is connected to the first electrode. The second terminal is connected to the second electrode.

    Abstract: In an embodiment, a touch sensor may include a sensor part including a first electrode and a second electrode, a signal receiving part, an amplifier circuit part connected between the second electrode and the signal receiving part, an analog-to-digital converter part configured to output a digital signal corresponding to a voltage difference between input terminals, and a processor configured to detect a touch input from the sensor part in response to the digital signal when operating in a first mode, and to output a gain control signal for calibrating a gain value of the amplifier circuit part in response to the digital signal when operating in a second mode.
