Abstract: A display device may include a pixel area and a transmission area adjacent to the pixel area, a circuit element disposed in the pixel area and including a transistor and a capacitor, a pixel electrode layer disposed in the pixel area and electrically connected to the circuit element, an emission layer disposed on the pixel electrode layer, an opposite electrode layer disposed on the emission layer, and a surface energy control layer disposed between the emission layer and the opposite electrode layer and including a perfluorinated material. The surface energy control layer may have a portion extending into the transmission area.
