Abstract: Apparatuses and methods for a wireless communication device having multiple Subscriber Identity Modules (SIMs) in which a first SIM is associated with an Internet Protocol (IP) Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) subscription that supports IMS services. The method includes but not limited to, determining that an IMS activity has completed at the IMS subscription, and determining whether a timer for a scheduled IMS signaling exceeds a time threshold. The timer indicates a time duration until performing the scheduled IMS signaling as scheduled. The method further includes, in response to determining that the timer does not exceed the time threshold, performing the scheduled IMS signaling and releasing a connection for the IMS subscription.
