Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may determine an actual power delay profile (PDP) associated with a channel between the UE and a base station, wherein the actual PDP indicates an averaged power level of the channel over a period of time. The UE may determine whether a channel estimation mode switching event is satisfied. The UE may switch, based at least in part on the channel estimation mode switching event being satisfied, between a first channel estimation mode based at least in part on the actual PDP and a second channel estimation mode based at least in part on a template PDP. Numerous other aspects are described.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication between a first wireless device and a second wireless device are described. A second wireless device may determine that a channel condition satisfies at least one channel condition threshold. The second wireless device may identify, based on the determination, a time-interleaved transmission scheme for block(s) of encoded information. The second wireless device may transmit the block(s) of encoded information to a first wireless device in accordance with at least the time-interleaved transmission scheme. In some instances, the first wireless device may determine that the channel condition satisfies the at least one channel condition threshold and send a message to the second wireless device in order to trigger the use of the time-interleaved transmission scheme.

Abstract: Techniques are described for wireless communication at a wireless communication device. A determination may be made regarding the number of receive chains, of a plurality of receive chains, to enable for a channel. Power to the receive chains may be regulated based on the determined number of enabled receive chains. The determination may be based on a transmission scheduling rate for the wireless communication device and a rank for the channel. In some examples, the determination may further be based on a channel quality of the channel and/or a type of traffic scheduled for the channel.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some wireless communications systems, a user equipment (UE) and a network entity may utilize multi-port mobility reference signals to assist with spatial based mobility procedures. The UE may receive a reference signal that is associated with multiple antenna ports. The UE may measure a multi-dimensional channel response based on the reference signal. The multi-dimensional channel response may be associated with measured channel metrics corresponding to the multiple antenna ports. The UE may transmit a report that includes a channel measurement vector based on the multi-dimensional channel response. The channel measurement vector may indicate multiple measured channel metrics for one or more dimensions of the multi-dimensional channel response. The network entity may transmit a message that indicates one or more metrics associated with mobility management for the UE based on the report that indicates the channel measurement vector.

Abstract: A method for wireless communication by a network node includes transmitting a first group of frames comprising a group of normal slots and one or more first special slots. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may update a noise estimation (e.g., a noise covariance matrix, a log likelihood ratio (LLR) scaling, or both) for communications with a serving base station to account for interference from a neighboring base station operating according to a different radio access technology (RAT). For example, the UE may identify a transmission status of a base station operating according to a first RAT, such as long term evolution (LTE), that shares a radio frequency spectrum with a serving base station operating according to a second RAT, such as new radio (NR). The UE may measure the interference from the LTE base station and may update a noise estimation according to the measured interference. The UE and the serving base station may communicate based on the updated noise estimation.

Abstract: Method and apparatus for control signaling for SIC operation in 2-codeword operating mode. The apparatus transmits, to a network entity, a SIC capability indication comprising an indication that the UE supports a SIC operation for 2-CW allocation and an order of processing a first codeword and a second codeword. The apparatus monitors for an ACK to enable the SIC operation between the UE and the network entity. The apparatus receives downlink communication based on the SIC operation in response to receiving the ACK to enable the SIC operation. The apparatus may process the first codeword, within the downlink communication, transmitted based on a first MCS. The apparatus may cancel interference from the downlink communication based on the first codeword to obtain the second codeword, within the downlink communication, transmitted based on a second MCS.

A scheduled entity transmits an indication of frequency resources that have different transmission requirements from those of other frequency resources in a smallest frequency domain scheduling unit that comprises the frequency resources for the scheduled entity. The scheduled entity receives, from a scheduling entity, signaling indicating at least one characteristic of how a channel is to be scheduled on the frequency resources from a scheduling entity. The scheduled entity communicates with the scheduling entity in accordance with the at least one characteristic.
