    Abstract: Disclosed is a method comprising estimating a time synchronization accuracy associated with a plurality of base stations comprising at least a first base station and a second base station based at least partly on one or more uncertainty factors determined by the terminal device, selecting the second base station from the plurality of base stations by comparing the estimated time synchronization accuracy associated with the plurality of base stations, and synchronizing a clock based on the selected second base station.

    Abstract: Various example embodiments provide efficient jitter control by means of a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) process. Abase station may transmit to a UE a forwarding time parameter for data packet(s) associated with a HARQ process. The UE 110 may store the data packet(s) in a HARQ buffer and determine to hold the data packet(s) in the HARQ buffer until a delivery time determined based on the forwarding time parameter. Once the delivery time has been reached, the UE may forward the data packets to higher protocol layers. This enables efficient jitter control of a data packet flow. Apparatuses, methods, and computer programs are disclosed.

    Abstract: A method may include receiving, by a user equipment from a network entity, a first downlink (DL) control signal activating semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) of a first set of downlink data transmissions, the downlink control signal indicating an applicable hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback timing for the first set of downlink data transmissions and receiving one or more of the first set of downlink data transmissions. The user equipment may determine that an applicable HARQ feedback timing for a second set of downlink data transmission previously received with an inapplicable HARQ feedback timing has not been provided. In response to the determination, the user equipment may determine a HARQ feedback timing for the one or more of the first set of downlink data transmissions based a second DL control signal indicating an applicable HARQ feedback timing received after reception of the one or more of the first set of downlink data transmissions.

    Abstract: A method of transmitting data from a user equipment (UE) in a radio resource control (RRC) inactive state to a network node is described. The example method includes detecting presence of data for transmitting to the network node and determining whether the user equipment (UE) allows a mode of operation using pre-allocated resources in the RRC inactive state for user data transmission. The example method further includes transmitting the data from the user equipment (UE) to the network node in response to determining that the user equipment (UE) allows the mode of operations using pre-allocated resources in the inactive radio resource control (RRC) state for user data transmission.
