The device further comprises a radio technology interface coupled to the processor, the radio technology interface being compatible with a SIM-based radio technology module and a non-SIM-based radio technology module. If a SIM-based radio technology module is installed in the radio technology interface, a SIM access event forces the SIM-based radio technology module into an inoperative state.
