    Abstract: The method for configuring the network of a factory energy management system (FEMS) includes receiving a parameter set for configuration of the network, generating a diagram based on a characteristic for the parameter of each of communication schemes available for configuration of the network, determining, based on the diagram, a communication characteristic matrix including a characteristic value representing the characteristic for the parameter of each of the communication schemes, determining a correlation matrix representing a weight for the parameter in each process to be managed by the FEMS, deriving a communication adaptability matrix by applying the weight corresponding to the parameter for each process of the correlation matrix to the characteristic value for the parameter of each of the communication schemes included in the communication characteristic matrix, and determining a communication scheme to be applied for each process from among the communication schemes using the communication adaptability matrix.

    Abstract: An apparatus and a method of correcting meter data for enhancement of electricity data management in a remote automatic measuring environment of a photovoltaic module are disclosed. According to an exemplary embodiment, a meter reads energy usage of a consumer and transmits meter data on the energy usage to an automatic meter reading (AMR) server. A meter data management system monitors an error in the transmitted meter data and a non-reading interval and re-requests collection of an error in meter data and a non-reading interval to the AMR server. When an error and a non-reading interval are found even after meter data is collected on the re-requesting, the error in the meter data and the non-reading interval are corrected using an estimated approximate value based on a history of previous meter data accumulated in a database of the AMR server.

    Abstract: The present invention related to an apparatus and a method for calculating basic electricity charges, being capable of periodically collecting electricity usage information for each household by using a smart meter provided in an aggregate building in which power reception equipment is installed, calculating the monthly or yearly maximum demand power for each household using the collected electricity usage information, and then, automatically calculating the basic electricity charges for each household with respect to the basic electricity charges of an entire aggregate building in consideration of the calculated maximum demand power for each household obtained and a ratio of ownership shares for each household based on the ownership shares for each resident household.

The apparatus for managing the sensor data includes a profile management unit to manage a sensor profile defining each sensor, a sensor system and a characteristic of a service, a service management unit to manage a preinstalled service and to collect and recommend a service based on the sensor profile from the sensor system, and a data collection cycle determination unit to determine a necessary sensor data collection cycle for the service. Furthermore, the apparatus includes a sensor data management unit to collect sensor data based on the sensor data collection cycle and to manage the sensor data, and an interface to connect the sensor system and an external device.

    Abstract: Micro-grid energy management system includes distributed power generation and storage devices each configured to generate and store power in a distributed manner, monitor its own status, and transmit data on the monitored status through a different interface, a gateway device connected selectively with the distributed power generation and storage devices through different interfaces and configured to convert the status data received through the interfaces into open data having one predefined data frame format, transmit the converted open data over a network, and provide control signals of the distributed power generation and storage devices received over the network to the distributed power generation and storage devices; and an energy management server configured to perform energy management using the open data transmitted from the gateway device over the network and transmit control signals for controlling and managing the distributed power generation and storage devices to the gateway device over the network.
