    摘要： A lock with a support structure includes a tubular element connected to a handle having a positioning hole and a center hole. The center hole contains a lock set having a rotatable lock core connected to a transmission element. The transmission element has separated first and second sides. A transversally slidable element is installed to the tubular element for receiving a bias pressure of an elastic element, and includes a protruding portion and a bearing portion. The protruding portion can be moved between engaged and non-engaged positions of the positioning hole of the handle. The support structure includes a support portion. If the first side of the transmission element approaches the support portion of the support structure, the bearing portion of the transversally slidable element will approach the second side of the transmission element for limiting the displacement of the transversally slidable element when an external force is applied.

A retractor case that contains a latch retractor for retracting a latch is disposed within the enlarged tubular section. An inner surface of the enlarged tubular section is provided with an interlocking unit that interlocks with the retractor case to prevent relative rotational movements of the retractor case and the shell. In an embodiment, the retractor case has at least one tongue extending radially between a pair of annularly spaced apart interlocking elements of the interlocking unit.

A reinforcing ring is further provided to couple the outer drive spindle to the outer handle for reinforcement.

    摘要： A time-shared computer system is disclosed in which computer software programs, either application programs or operating system programs, can be retrofitted with new programs which are totally incompatible with the old versions, all without interrupting service provided by the software programs. In a real time software system such as one providing telephone service, the processor (or processors in a multiprocessor system) is divided into two logical partitions. The old version of the software runs in one partition while the new version is loaded into and started up in the other partition. When the new version is verified to be properly operating, the data traffic is transferred from the old version parition to the new version partition in two steps. First the input data is switched to the new verison. When the transactions in progress in the old version are all completed, the output data is switched from the old version to the new version.This software retrofitting on the fly is disclosed in connection with a telephone transaction processing system used to support special telephone services such as dial 800 calls and credit card calls.

    摘要： A re-keyable cylinder lock has a control member to permit or restrict transverse movement of a re-keying unit. The control member is movable axially between first and second positions and transversely to a third position from the second position. In the third position, the re-keying unit moves transversely and disengages from first tumbler pieces. A limit member is provided to prevent the control member from moving axially when no right key is inserted into a plug. A security arm is connected to the control member and is breakable so that destructive forces cannot reach the control member.

An outer drive tube extends through the middle opening and central hole. The reinforcement structure provides enhanced stiffness and robustness to two securing rods extending through the locking holes and the passage holes.
