    摘要: An electrical power conversion system for converting a high voltage from a HV electrical power supply to a low voltage is disclosed. In an embodiment, the electrical power conversion system includes at least one power converter and at least one RC network including a plurality of resistive components and a plurality of capacitive components electrically connected in series. In an embodiment, the at least one RC network is in series connection with the at least one power converter and the at least one RC network and at least one power converter are arranged to be connected across a line potential of the HV electrical power supply.

    摘要: Disclosed herein is a joiner (10) comprising an elongate body (12) defining a longitudinal axis (14). Projections (16, 18) extend generally transversely from the body (12) at opposite ends thereof and two spaced apart magnets (20, 22) are located between the projections (16, 18). The magnets (20, 22) are adapted to magnetically connect the joiner (10) to ferrous metal anchor points (i.e. the frames 101, 201) of modular furniture to retain the projections (16, 18) in engagement with the frame of the respective unit of modular furniture (100, 200) and thereby to retain the units of modular furniture together.

    摘要: The invention disclosed relates to the fabrication of electronic devices. A method for fabricating an electronic device is disclosed, comprising embossing a surface of a work-piece 200, 202 using an embossing tool 204, so as to form a microstructure having at least two levels of thickness contrast on the work-piece surface, and depositing fluid 208 containing a functional material onto the microstructure. In a preferred embodiment, the step of depositing fluid 208 comprises ink-jet printing. An embossing tool 204 for creating a microstructure on a work-piece 200, 202 is also disclosed, the embossing tool 204 comprising a first surface and steps of at least two different heights relative to the first surface.

    摘要: A method is provided for controlling an engine having an intake manifold and an outlet control device coupled to the manifold for controlling flow exiting the manifold and entering at least one cylinder of the engine. The engine further includes an inlet control device for controlling flow entering the manifold. The method includes providing an engine command; calculating a desired cylinder charge based on said command; and adjusting the outlet control device to provide said desired cylinder charge. The engine command may be, for example, a driver command, such as a driver torque command. Further, the outlet control device may be implement in with a variety of mechanisms. For example, in one embodiment the outlet control device is a valve of the engine having a variable lift. In one embodiment the outlet device is a valve having variable timing. Likewise, the inlet device may be adjusted in response to a variety of parameters. For example, in one embodiment the inlet device is adjusted based on manifold pressure. Still further, engine control may also include adjusting of the inlet control device.
