摘要: Respective energy consumption data is collected via respective agents running on respective host servers. The respective energy consumption data represents energy consumed by the respective host servers over a time period. The respective agents communicate with hardware on each of the respective host servers using a unified application programming interface (API). Respective energy costs are determined over the time period for the respective host servers based on the respective energy consumption data. A subset of the respective host servers that are being underutilized is identified based on the respective energy consumption data and the respective energy costs. An action to take with respect to the subset of the respective host servers that are being underutilized is determined to reduce the energy costs.

摘要: Example implementations relate to method and controller for secure management of a rack. The method includes generating a first unique identifier corresponding to a rack profile of the rack hosting rack devices including physical devices and logical devices, in accordance with a rack topology, wherein the rack profile is based on configuration of the rack devices and the rack topology. Further, the method includes receiving information corresponding to the rack profile of the rack from peripheral devices disposed in the rack, wherein the information is based on monitored condition of the rack devices and the rack topology. The method further includes generating a second unique identifier based on the information, and determining variation in the rack profile based on comparison of the first and second unique identifiers. Further, the method includes generating an alert signal in the rack, in response to determination of the variation in the rack profile.

摘要: In accordance with some embodiments, a light detection and ranging (LiDAR) scanning system includes a light source. The light source is configured to transmit a pulse of light. The LiDAR scanning system also includes a beam steering apparatus configured to steer the pulse of light in at least one of vertically and horizontally along an optical path. The beam steering apparatus is further configured to concurrently collect scattered light generated based on the light pulse illuminating an object in the optical path. The scattered light is coaxial or substantially coaxial with the optical path. The LiDAR scanning system further includes a light converging apparatus configured to direct the collected scattered light to a focal point. The LiDAR scanning system further includes a light detector, which is situated substantially at the focal point. In some embodiments, the light detector can include an array of detectors or detector elements.

摘要: A frequency tracking method for an ultrasonic electronic cigarette is provided. The method includes enabling start of working of an ultrasonic atomizer and selecting an oscillation frequency range of the ultrasonic atomizer as a frequency scan range according to the natural frequency characteristics of the ultrasonic atomizer. The method further includes selecting N frequency points within the frequency scan range and controlling the ultrasonic atomizer to work at the N frequency points. The method further includes finding out a maximum current value Imax and a minimum current value Imin of the ultrasonic atomizer when working at the N frequency points, and finding out a working frequency fimax corresponding to the maximum current value Imax. The method further includes controlling the ultrasonic atomizer to work at a frequency ftracking=fimax+Δf; and detecting the working current I of the ultrasonic atomizer.

摘要: An object recognition ingestion system is presented. The object ingestion system captures image data of objects, possibly in an uncontrolled setting. The image data is analyzed to determine if one or more a priori know canonical shape objects match the object represented in the image data. The canonical shape object also includes one or more reference PoVs indicating perspectives from which to analyze objects having the corresponding shape. An object ingestion engine combines the canonical shape object along with the image data to create a model of the object. The engine generates a desirable set of model PoVs from the reference PoVs, and then generates recognition descriptors from each of the model PoVs. The descriptors, image data, model PoVs, or other contextually relevant information are combined into key frame bundles having sufficient information to allow other computing devices to recognize the object at a later time.

摘要: Interaction-based ecosystems are presented. Interaction analysis engine analyze media content to derive a set of media features. The engine can then identify one or more interaction objects (e.g., transactions, searches, game play, etc.) based on the set of media features. Relevant interaction objects can then be instantiated as persistent available or active points of interaction readily accessed by a consumer. The consumer need only capture a digital representation of the content via a user device, a smart phone for example. A second set of media features can be derived from the digital representation and the second set of media features can then be used to find the instantiated interactions.

摘要: Techniques for performing operation-based event suppression are described. In an example, a determination may be performed as to whether an event is to be suppressed if the event is received in response to performance of an operation. The determination may be performed based on at least one of number of actions triggered by the event, frequency of occurrence of the event in an event stream in response to performance of the operation, and frequency of occurrence of the event in the event stream without performance of the first operation.
