Described herein are methods, network devices and machine-readable media for preventing the malicious use of phishing simulation records. Phishing simulation records often times can reveal which individuals are most susceptible to phishing attacks. In the event that an attacker gains access to these records, the attacker can exploit such information to send phishing attacks to those individuals who are the most susceptible. To address such vulnerabilities, a phishing simulation record of an individual is only associated with an e-mail alias of the individual. Further, such e-mail alias may be deactivated after phishing simulations have been completed. Therefore, even if an attacker were able to identify individuals most susceptible to phishing attacks, the attacker will be unable to send any phishing attacks to those individuals since their e-mail aliases will have been deactivated.

A file containing code for customizing a server's functionality can be “hot plugged” into the server without requiring server restart. The file is added in a class path of its own. The server's class path is not modified during this process, and, consequently, the server does not need to be shut down or restarted. Changes are made to the class-loading pattern of a JVM. Whenever the JVM starts, the JVM's own container class loader component loads the classes. Custom plug-in jar file code is loaded by a parallel class loader that executes in parallel with the container class loader. When the parallel class loader is started, the container class loader is made the parent of the parallel class loader. Because the container class loader is made a super class of the parallel class loader, components loaded by the parallel class loader become recognized by the parent container class loader.

A potentially interfering node updatable database associated with the MAC, in each node, contains a limited number of unique identification numbers (UNIDs) referring to nodes likely to interfere with the transmission of the node. Typically these UNIDs are one or two hop neighbors. In addition to the actual nodes, the database also contains unique ID numbers of dummy nodes. Practically, the node database does not distinguish between real or dummy nodes. Selecting a certain node to transmit at a certain TS is brought about by a “which node is to transmit in the next TS” (WINIT) function. This function takes into account all the UNIDs available in the UNID databases of the different nodes. When the WINIT selects a specific UNID to be active in the upcoming TS, the relevant MAC element in the respective node, invokes the transmission.

A system, method, and node for releasing resources in a telecommunications network. The method begins by a node assigning a resource-Identification (ID) to an internal resource within the node. At least one internal resource is allocated by the node for a specific Packet Data Network (PDN) connection. Next, a first message containing a resource-ID of the allocated internal resource is sent to one or more peer nodes. The peer nodes store the received resource-ID from the first message. When a node determines that a malfunction of the allocated internal resource of the node occurs, the node sends a second message containing the resource-ID of the malfunctioning internal resource to the peer nodes. The peer nodes then tear down the PDN connection.
The present invention is directed to a method for use in a cognitive radio. A Fourier transform of a time domain signal is performed to obtain a series of frequency domain samples covering substantially the entire predetermined RF spectrum, the time domain signal corresponding to the RF waveform, each frequency domain sample being characterized by a predetermined waveform characteristic. The predetermined waveform characteristic of each frequency domain sample is evaluated in each subcarrier block to obtain a subcarrier block activity level for each subcarrier block. A subcarrier block is selected when its subcarrier block activity level is greater than a predetermined threshold.

A programmable computer is used to perform the following. 3D seismic data sets, corresponding to each azimuth in seismic data obtained from a multi-azimuth marine seismic survey, are migrated in grids oriented with the corresponding azimuth. Acquisition geometry is stored for each trace in the seismic data sets for each azimuth. Residual analysis, based on the corresponding azimuth, is performed on each of the migrated data sets, generating residuals and reflectors for each azimuth. The residuals and reflectors generated for each azimuth are rotated and merged on a master grid. Reflection tomographic inversion is applied iteratively to the rotated and merged residuals and reflectors to update a velocity model using the acquisition geometry as based on the master grid. The earth's subsurface is imaged using the updated velocity model.
In an ON state, a first switch generates a transmission signal by pulse modulating a carrier. A SAW sensor outputs a reception signal after a delay from receipt of the transmission signal. In an input state, a second switch receives and transmits the transmission signal to the SAW sensor. In an output state, the second switch receives and outputs the reception signal. A SAW delay element outputs a local signal after the delay from receipt of the transmission signal. A mixer generates a synchronous detection signal by mixing the reception and local signals. During the input state of the second switch, the first switch switches from the OFF state, to the ON state, and back to the OFF state. The second switch switches from the input state to the output state before the delay after the first switch switches back to the OFF state.

Systems and methods for detecting power attacks related to subnormal read voltage on an integrated circuit. Upon initiating power up of the integrated circuit and prior to reading configuration information from non-volatile memory (NVM), test cells associated with the NVM are read first. The test cells share a common power supply with the NVM and output read values from the test cells are configured to deviate from values pre-programmed in the test cells when a subnormal read voltage is applied on the common power supply. Thus, by comparing the output read values with the pre-programmed values, it can be determined whether voltage of the common power supply is subnormal, wherein configuration information will be read incorrectly at a subnormal read voltage. If the voltage is subnormal, power up is aborted. Otherwise, power up is allowed to proceed by reading the configuration information from the NVM.

At the direction of signals presented on the local wordlines and column-select lines, subsets of the bitlines in each sub-array are connected to main data lines that extend over a plurality of the sub-arrays in parallel with the second axis. Some embodiments include redundant data resources that are selected based on a decoding of row addresses.
An erase operation for a 3D stacked memory device adjusts a start time of an erase period and/or a duration of the erase period for each storage element based on a position of the storage element. A voltage is applied to one or both drive ends of a NAND string to pre-charge a channel to a level which is sufficient to create gate-induced drain leakage at the select gate transistors. With timing based on a storage element's distance from the driven end, the control gate voltage is lowered to encourage tunneling of holes into a charge trapping layer in the erase period. The lowered control gate voltage results in a channel-to-control gate voltage which is sufficiently high to encourage tunneling. The duration of the erase period is also increased when the distance from the driven end is greater. As a result, a narrow erase distribution can be achieved.

A content addressable memory device based on an extremely compact design, potentially as small as 16F2 per memory cell. One embodiment is based on cells having two memory storage elements, such as RRAM elements. Each RRAM element and a respective FET are connected in series between a common matchline and a respective bitline. Cell content for each cell is matched against a bit of a search word by applying voltages to the respective bitlines dependent upon bit value and causing one of the two RRAM elements for each cell to discharge the matchline over a low resistance path in event of mismatch between the cell content and the bit. If no “quick” discharge occurs for multiple cells of a row, then a match is detected. In addition, a matchline recharge path to a high voltage bitline is substantially eliminated by controlling the FETs with specific wordline voltages.
