摘要: A system is provided for dynamically managing a media production work package. The system includes a media production work package generator that builds a media production work package that includes media processing functions; and a processing function manager that generates function trackers that are each assigned to a respective one of the plurality of media processing functions and comprise a unique identity. Moreover, the system includes a function deployment manager that embeds the function trackers in the respective media processing functions, and deploys the media processing functions to resources available in a cloud computing network that includes both physical resources and software resources. A performance metric collector generates a graphical representation of respective total costs of each the deployed media processing functions and a work package controller generates a data point structure that uniquely identifies the deployed media processing functions and the total costs for each deployed function.

摘要: Audio streams are received from participant computing devices of a participant cohort that includes a plurality of participant computing devices that are each located in a same area and are each connected to a teleconference. A first audio stream is selected from the two or more audio streams for broadcast based at least in part on signal quality information indicative of a signal quality associated with each of the two or more audio streams and/or historical signal quality information indicative of a signal quality associated with prior audio streams received from the two or more participant computing devices. The first audio stream is broadcasted to one or more participant computing devices different than the plurality of participant computing devices of the participant cohort.

摘要: The technology described herein is directed towards an uplink video streaming technology including for private networks that use low-cost mobile devices with reduced hardware capabilities (RedCap in 3GPP). The technology adapts the video quality (bitrate) from the content producer side based on the device capability data of the content consumer, leveraging that both are co-located in the same network. The technology can use machine learning to identify correlated devices with suboptimal video quality, and to propose new uplink data rate limiting data (e.g., PRB quota) for the content provider, to enforce an updated (e.g., reduced) video quality independent of any streaming application. The technology reduces spectrum loss, energy consumption and video rebuffering that otherwise often occur when videos are generated with high quality beyond the capabilities of the video consumers (e.g., including RedCap devices).

摘要: Methods, devices, and system related to wireless communications are disclosed. In one example aspect, a method for wireless communication includes receiving, by a first access node in a first type of communication network, a request from a wireless device to establish a voice session with an Internet Protocol Multimedia System (IMS); initiating, by the first access node, an IMS voice session establishment for the wireless device; configuring, by the first access node, a Quality of Service (QOS) for the IMS voice session using a Protocol Data Unit (PDU) session modification request; and determining, in part based on one or more capabilities of the wireless device, to refrain from triggering a fallback to a second type of communication network for the IMS voice session establishment.

摘要: A method includes receiving user input indicating a selection of a subset of two or more of a plurality of audio layers for media content to be provided to a user, each of the subset of audio layers corresponding to one or more audio sources, receiving second user input indicating volume levels for the two or more audio layers of the plurality of audio layers, capturing, based on the first user input, the two or more audio layers of the plurality of audio layers for a media content item to be provided to the user, and enabling audio playback based on the two or more audio layers of the plurality of audio layers and without including other audio layers of the plurality of audio layers, the audio playback reflecting the volume levels indicated by the second user input. The method further includes causing the media content item to be provided to the user using the audio playback reflecting the indicated volume levels.
