摘要: Disclosed are systems, methods and computer program products for measuring and reducing latency of radio link flows having different quality of service (QoS) reservations. An example method comprises establishing one or more radio link flows with an access gateway, wherein each radio link flow has a different QoS reservation, transmitting at least one transport layer protocol message having a predetermined size on each radio link flow to the echo service of the access gateway, receiving at least one response message on each radio link flow from the access gateway, computing the round trip time (RTT) for the transmitted and received messages on each radio link flow, and modifying QoS reservations of the one or more radio link flows based on the computed RTT for the one or more radio link flows.

摘要: A system for automatically compensating the transmitting (outgoing) signal level by detecting the receiving (incoming) signal level received from a communication channel to MODEM. Said system includes a gain controller for controlling the output gain of the analog signal received from analog signal input terminal in accordance with gain control data, hybrid means for amplifying the output of said gain controller, providing the amplified signal to transmit to a telephone line, and amplifying the analog signal received from the telephone line, receiving level sensing means for providing a plurality of receiving information data, said receiving information data teaching the level of the received signal, and a microprocessor unit for outputting the gain control data to said gain controller in response to the receiving information data and initial gain control data stored therein. The gain control data increases or decreases according to the receiving information data provided to the microprocessor, if the level of the receiving signal to the MODEM is too high or too low, thereby controlling its transmitting gain with an optimum level according to the receiving level.

摘要: A remote control system for data communication includes a local modem as an initiating modem and a remote modem as a responding modem coupled by an analog duplexed channel, and a pair of intermediate modems coupled by a digital duplexed channel, inserted between the initiating and the responding modes. Each intermediate modem includes communication control circuitry to translate a port designation from the initiating modem into a port designation corresponding to the responding modem. Thus, the system makes it possible to simply designate a port of the remote modem to effect designation of a corresponding port of the local modem with the initiating modem having no information indicating correspondence between the port of the responding modem and those of the initiating modem.

摘要: The present invention relates to Walsh Code Allocation (WCA) field in the Packet Data Control Channel. One of the embodiments of the WCA field is use of the WCA field as Last Walsh Code Index (LWCI) field in the message format of the PDCCH. The LWCI field indicates the corresponding last code index or the corresponding number of Walsh codes in a Walsh Code Index (WCI) Table/List/Set. In alternative embodiments, the WCA indicates a general set of Walsh codes or a specific set of Walsh codes in the WCI table. The WCA fields may or may not be used with one of power ranking and sequential decoding, but is preferable used. The WCA field has various advantages including but not limited to efficient use of system resources.
