摘要： A method of stabilizing a variable filter for an analog electromagnetic signal against circuit oscillation includes the steps of: providing a signal loop comprising a signal input, a signal output, and a plurality of variable circuit elements connected in the signal loop, the plurality of variable circuit elements comprising an adjustable resonator and an adjustable gain block, the signal loop having a variable frequency response that is characterized by a central frequency, a frequency passband, a response Q, and an operating point and a resonator response curve that are plottable in a Cartesian s-plane having an origin, a real axis, and an imaginary axis; and maintaining stability of the variable filter within an operating range by controlling the adjustable resonator and the adjustable gain block such that, in the Cartesian s-plane, the resonator response curve satisfies an orthogonality stability condition.

摘要： An impedance matched resonant circuit uses inductors coupling an audio source and a speaker array in order to reduce feedback reflection induced by an audio signal traveling from the audio source to the array of speakers. An RC circuit could also be coupled to the positive and negative terminals of the speaker array to reduce the slope differential of the audio signal at certain frequencies. The circuit can be packaged together in a single module with switches to activate and deactivate portions of the circuit to alter the effectiveness of the circuit depending upon need.

摘要： A band-pass filter made up by an operational amplifier and by an input circuit. The input circuit is formed by a capacitive filtering element, connected to the input of the operational amplifier; a coupling switch, coupled between an input node and the capacitive filtering element; a capacitive sampling element, coupled between the input of the filter and the input node; and a sampling switch, coupled between the input node and a reference-potential line. The coupling switch and the input sampling switch close in phase opposition according to a succession of undesired components sampling and sensing steps, so that the capacitive sampling element forms a sampler for sampling the undesired component in the undesired components sampling step, in the absence of the component of interest, and forms a subtractor of the undesired components from the input signal in the sensing step.

摘要： Techniques to develop negative impedance circuits that may operate to their power supply rails. The techniques may include generating currents in response to voltage signals presented at respective input terminals of a negative impedance circuit. The voltage signals may be differential signals. The generated currents may be driven through a common impedance within the negative impedance circuit. The currents flowing through the common impedance may be mirrored back to the input terminals of the negative impedance circuit. The negative impedance circuit may be controlled to operate about a common-mode voltage for the circuit.

摘要： An electronically tuneable surface. The surface comprises: a conductive sheet comprising at least one opening; and a biasing circuit. The biasing circuit comprises first and second conductors, separated from the conductive sheet by a dielectric, and arranged at mutually opposing sides of the opening such that each conductor is capacitively coupled to the conductive sheet at the respective side of the opening. The conductors define a gap between them corresponding to the opening. The biasing circuit also comprises an electrical control element bridging the gap, connected to the first and second conductors. When the element is in a first state, the surface exhibits a first frequency transmission characteristic with respect to incident electromagnetic radiation, and when the element is in a second state, the surface exhibits a second, different characteristic.
