The displaceable pin assembly can include a plunger that is selectively displaceable along an axis that is non-parallel to a central longitudinal axis of the first end cap. The plunger can be selectively displaceable between an extended position at which at least a first end of the plunger is outwardly positioned away from an outer surface of the first end cap, and a recessed position at which the first end of the plunger is recessed within, or generally aligned with the outer surface of, the first end cap. The displaceable pin assembly can also include a biasing element that can bias the plunger to the extended position, and a support body that can house at least a portion of the plunger and be securely coupled to the cap bore.

    摘要: A HV HRC fuse, in particular a HH full-range fuse, for a drop-out fuse system with a drop-out release mechanism has an outer fuse housing, wherein at least one melting conductor, which is wound around at least one winding body, is provided in the fuse housing. The fuse housing is at least partially open on two end faces and a contact cap designed for electrical contacting is arranged on each end face of the fuse housing. The upper contact cap is detachably connectable in a contacting position with the drop-out release mechanism and the lower contact cap is pivotally mounted on the drop-out release mechanism. Tripping of the HV HRC fuse results in tripping of the drop-out release mechanism, whereby the upper contact cap is separated from the drop-out release mechanism and the HV HRC fuse swings out from the contacting position to a swing-out position.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a protection element having a cover. The protection element has a base and a cover. The base has a low melting point alloy layer. The cover has a receiving recess and a guiding passage. The guiding passage corresponds to a melting area of the low melting point alloy layer. The flux is arranged on the accommodating groove of the cover body. When the flux is melted, the flux flows to the guiding passage so that the flux is kept on the melting area of the low melting point alloy layer. Therefore, it is only necessary to place the flux in the receiving recess during manufacture, which can effectively reduce the manufacturing steps and thus reduce the production cost.

    摘要: A high-voltage direct-current thermal fuse includes one or more fusible components each having two fusible alloy support arms, a fluxing agent, a fusing cavity, two pins, and an insulation block. Two fusible alloy support arms are arranged opposite, and the fusible component is U-shaped. The fusible component and the fluxing agent are sealed within the fusing cavity. The two pins are respectively connected to the two fusible alloy support arms. The insulation block is arranged between the two fusible alloy support arms and separates the two pins. A volume ratio of the fluxing agent to the fusing cavity is approximately 50% or less, preferably, 10%-50%. The number of the one or more fusible components is at least two, and the at least two fusible components are arranged separately. The thermal fuse can avoid the burst and quickly cut off the current, which provides effective thermal protection for a circuit.

    摘要: A novel fuse assembly design utilizes a fuse body, a single-piece terminal assembly and a two-piece endbell. The terminal assembly is disposed within the fuse body and includes first and second opposing surfaces with a fuse element extending between a first terminal and a second terminal. The endbell, to be connected to the fuse body, includes first and second endbell portions. Formed within the first endbell portion is a first receptacle and extending from the first endbell portion is a first protrusion. Formed within the second endbell portion is a second receptacle and extending from the second endbell portion is a second protrusion. When the two endbell portions are fastened to one another with the terminal assembly sandwiched between them, the first protrusion engages the second receptacle and the second protrusion engages the first receptacle.
