摘要: The bistable electromechanical actuator comprises an actuator shaft (7) arranged in a house (1), said shaft being movable along its longitudinal direction, a base member (11) attached to the actuator shaft (7), said base member being slidably attached to a guiding element (3, 3′,3″) through a stud (15), said guiding element being secured to the house and having two locking notches (2a, 2b) with a predetermined distance therebetween and further having a straight or substantially straight guiding section (2c) formed between said two locking notches in a plane parallel to the longitudinal direction of said shaft (7), wherein at least one permanent magnet is fixed to the base member (11) so that the magnetic axis of each permanent magnet is perpendicular or substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of said shaft (7), and wherein at least one electromagnetic coil (13) is arranged within said house (1) so that in an idle state of the actuator, one end of each coil (13) is arranged to be adjacent to one of the at least one permanent magnet (12) in such a manner that the position of said end of the respective coil (13) is slightly offset, along the longitudinal direction of said shaft (7), with respect to the position of the permanent magnet (12) adjacent thereto.

摘要: An electric switch is provided. The electric switch comprises a contact system, an actuation element, an engaging latch, and an actuator. The actuation element moves between an initial position and an actuation position to switch and changeover the contact system. The actuation element is located in a direction of the initial position by a force of a return spring. The engaging latch locks the actuation element in the initial position or the actuation position. A non-manual unlocking between the actuation element and the engaging latch is performed by the actuator.

摘要: A torque motor actuator includes a first magnetic pole piece, a second magnetic pole piece, an armature, and an armature stop. The second magnetic pole piece is spaced apart from the first magnetic pole piece to define an armature gap. The armature is disposed in the armature gap and is spaced apart from the first and second magnetic pole pieces. The armature includes a magnetically permeable material and has a central portion, a first arm, and a second arm. The armature is rotationally mounted at the central portion, and the first and second arms extend, in opposite directions, from the central portion. The armature stop extends from the first arm, and comprises a non-magnetic material. The armature stop is configured, upon rotation of the armature, to selectively engage one of the first or second magnetic pole pieces to thereby limit armature rotation.

摘要: A solenoid locking mechanism connects a solenoid body to a male coupling member. The male coupling member surrounds a housing at the end of the solenoid. A pair of ball bearings is retained in the housing and extends into the coupling member. Movement of the ball bearings by the plunger control locking or releasing the coupling member. In an alternate embodiment the solenoid locking mechanism secures the coupling mechanism to a lockable rod that has a ball nose at one end. The locking mechanism has a locking chamber or socket with a ball bearing mounted in the chamber wall. The ball bearing is moveable between a position in which it extends into the locking chamber or can be moved out from the locking chamber. The movement of the ball bearing is controlled by a plunger in the solenoid body. The ball nose is selectively locked in the locking chamber or released from the locking chamber depending on the position of the plunger which controls the position and movement of the ball bearing.

摘要: A switch for an electrical circuit includes a base, a rotatable cam having a first profile and a second profile, a solenoid, a link, and a member comprising a cam follower configured to follow the second profile. A first cycle of the solenoid includes a first energized state and a first de-energized state and the second cycle of the solenoid includes a second energized state and a second de-energized state. A first portion of the link couples to the solenoid, and a second portion of the link movably couples to the first profile of the cam. When the solenoid is in a first cycle, the member moves from a retracted position to an extended position, and when the solenoid is in a second cycle, the member moves from the extended position to the retracted position.

摘要: The invention relates to an electromagnetic actuator comprising a wire coil, an armature and a catch, wherein the armature can be moved in an actuation direction, and wherein the catch secures the armature within the electromagnetic actuator. In order to secure an armature of the electromagnetic actuator, extra parts are mounted to the electromagnetic actuator or the armature is attached via a spring. This results in bigger sizes or insufficient stopping characteristics. The present invention overcomes these disadvantages by locating a catch inside the electromagnetic actuator.

摘要: An electromagnetic actuator comprises a stationary element made of soft magnetic material which element has a plurality of magnetic poles, a magnet one magnetic pole of which is secured to the stationary element, a movable element made of soft magnetic material which element is faced with the magnetic poles of the stationary element and the other magnetic pole of the magnet through narrow gaps so as to form a magnetic circuit arranged in parallel to the direction of magnetic flux generated by the magnet, and a coil element wound around the stationary element which coil is so arranged as to energize the magnetic circuit in series. When electric current is flowed through the coil, the balance of magnetic force between these magnetic fluxes loses and therefore, the movable element is reciprocally moved with respect to the stationary element. This device can be actuated with a large moving force generated by a fine current.

摘要: An emergency manual actuation mechanism for a conventional solenoid having a plunger with one end connected to an external apparatus, such as a diesel engine fuel pump, in which energization of the solenoid coil retracts the plunger axially; the mechanism comprises a non-magnetic retraction rod that extends into the solenoid housing in alignment with the solenoid plunger and is axially movable from a normal position disengaged from the plunger to an intermediate position at which a mechanical connection is completed between the rod and the plunger. Further axial or rotary movement of the retraction rod to a retraction position drives the plunger to its retracted position, simulating energization of the solenoid coil. Retainer means hold the retraction rod and the solenoid plunger at their retracted positions.

摘要: Disclosed is a magnetically latching solenoid including a pull-in coil and a delatching coil. Each of the coils is constructed with a combination of wire materials, including material of low temperature coefficient of resistivity to enable the solenoid to be operated at cryogenic temperatures while maintaining sufficient coil resistance. An armature is spring-biased toward a first position, that may extend beyond the field of force of a permanent magnet. When voltage is temporarily applied across the pull-in magnet, the induced electromagnetic forces overcomes the spring force and pulls the armature to a second position within the field of the permanent magnet, which latches the armature in the pulled-in position. Application of voltage across the delatching coil induces electromagnetic force which at least partially temporarily nullifies the field of the permanent magnet at the armature, thereby delatching the armature and allowing the spring to move the armature to the first position.
