Abstract: A telepresence device may relay video, audio, and/or measurement data to a user operating a control device. A user interface may permit the user to quickly view and/or understand temporally and/or spatially disparate information. The telepresence device may pre-gather looped video of spatially disparate areas in an environment. A temporal control mechanism may start video playback at a desired point in a current or historical video segment. Notations may be associated with time spans in a video and recalled by capturing an image similar to a frame in the time span of the video. An area of interest may be selected and video containing the area of interest may be automatically found. Situational data may be recorded and used to recall video segments of interest. The telepresence device may synchronize video playback and movement. A series of videos may be recorded at predetermined time intervals to capture visually trending information.

Abstract: Computer-implemented methods and systems are provided that receive, at an implantable medical device (IMD), a programming package comprising a collection of configuration change requests, transaction credentials, and a signature indicative of a source of the programming package. The transaction credentials include a first hash of the collection of configuration change requests. The IMD validates an external device as the source by decrypting the signature using a key that is uniquely associated with the external device. The IMD verifies the transaction credentials and the configuration change requests of the programming package, and generates a second hash of the collection of configuration change requests. Responsive to both (i) the second hash matching the first hash and (ii) the transaction credentials and the configuration change requests being verified, the IMD executes the collection of configuration change requests to update an operating configuration of the IMD.

Abstract: A multi-sided match making (“MMM”) computer system including at least one processor in communication with at least one memory device for matching consumers to providers is provided. The at least one processor is configured to: (i) receive registration data from a user, (ii) receive user data from at least one of a sensor and a mobile device associated with the user, (iii) analyze the registration data and the user data, (iv) determine a need based upon the analyzed registration and user data, (v) transmit the determined need to at least one caregiver associated with the user, and (vi) match the user to at least one provider based upon the determined need, wherein the provider is at least one of the caregiver, another caregiver, and a service, and wherein the provider is able to meet the determined need for the user.

Further, the method includes receiving a selection of a selectable option from among the one or more selectable options. Thereafter, at least one action is performed on the medical multimedia data based on the selection of the selectable option. An example of the at least one action includes sharing at least a part of the medical multimedia data with a third party device.

Abstract: Cochlear implant systems can include first and second subsystems, each subsystem including an input source, a signal processor, a stimulator, and a cochlear electrode. A single implantable battery and/or communication module can provide power to and communicate with each subsystem, such as via each signal processor. Systems can include separate leads providing separate communication between the implantable battery and/or communication module and each subsystem, or can include a bifurcated lead providing signals to both subsystems simultaneously. The implantable battery and/or communication module can be configured to output addressed signals designating for which subsystem a signal is intended. The implantable battery and/or communication module can be configured to separately update settings associated with each respective subsystem, such as a transfer function associated with each signal processor.
