Abstract: A caregiver assistance system for assisting a caregiver in a healthcare facility to perform his or her rounding duties comprises a server in communication with one or more patient beds and one or more electronic devices (e.g. smart phones) that are remote from the beds and that include a display, a user input, and a web browser. The server executes a caregiver assistance application that causes the electronic device to perform the following actions after the web browser of the electronic device accesses a particular URL whose content and function are controlled by the caregiver assistance application: (a) display rounding information on the display relating to a patient associated with the bed, and (b) forward a completion indication to the caregiver assistance application wherein the completion indication is generated in response to a caregiver manipulating the user input when the caregiver has completed a rounding task associated with the patient.

The present invention also relates to a system and method that integrates non-fungible digital token software technology with laser engraving hardware techniques and multi-component information processing methods for the secure, permanent and traceable digital proof of ownership of a unique physical item, and also for physical data security protection against the forgery, copy or theft of unique digital information codes, digital asset data and non-fungible digital tokens that are connected or paired to unique physical items.

Abstract: A vehicle access system for a vehicle includes a telematics device disposed on the vehicle for communication with a portable electronic device via a network, the portable electronic device associated with the vehicle and configured to generate first and second security keys, and generate and display a QR code mapped from the first security key, the QR code configured to be authenticated by the second security key. An imaging device is disposed on the vehicle, and a vehicle controller is in signal communication with the telematics device and the imaging device. The vehicle controller is configured to perform operations including receiving the second security key to begin execution of an authentication process, detecting, with the imaging device, the QR code generated with the first security key, authenticating the QR code with the second security key, and upon authenticating the QR code, enabling access to a vehicle function.

The method further comprises generating a 2D projection image based on the 3D design model, the 2D projection image comprising a representation of at least a portion of the one or more design elements, generating a projection barcode based on the 2D projection image, and generating a drawing barcode based on the 2D design image. The method further comprises aligning the 2D projection image and the 2D design image by comparing the projection barcode and the drawing barcode.
