    Abstract: A caregiver assistance system for assisting a caregiver in a healthcare facility to perform his or her rounding duties comprises a server in communication with one or more patient beds and one or more electronic devices (e.g. smart phones) that are remote from the beds and that include a display, a user input, and a web browser. The server executes a caregiver assistance application that causes the electronic device to perform the following actions after the web browser of the electronic device accesses a particular URL whose content and function are controlled by the caregiver assistance application: (a) display rounding information on the display relating to a patient associated with the bed, and (b) forward a completion indication to the caregiver assistance application wherein the completion indication is generated in response to a caregiver manipulating the user input when the caregiver has completed a rounding task associated with the patient.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a system and method for the digital authentication and/or digital enhancement of real-world physical items by integrating laser engraving, blockchain, optical scanning, multi-component code verification and information processing technologies to create permanent, secure, connected asset identifiers in both digital and physical formats for physical item anti-counterfeiting, anti-theft, item provenance and information storage applications.     Abstract: A vehicle access system for a vehicle includes a telematics device disposed on the vehicle for communication with a portable electronic device via a network, the portable electronic device associated with the vehicle and configured to generate first and second security keys, and generate and display a QR code mapped from the first security key, the QR code configured to be authenticated by the second security key. An imaging device is disposed on the vehicle, and a vehicle controller is in signal communication with the telematics device and the imaging device. The vehicle controller is configured to perform operations including receiving the second security key to begin execution of an authentication process, detecting, with the imaging device, the QR code generated with the first security key, authenticating the QR code with the second security key, and upon authenticating the QR code, enabling access to a vehicle function.

    Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for aligning a two-dimensional (2D) design image to a 2D projection image of a three-dimensional (3D) design model.
