摘要: An in-wall power adapter adapted to receive a control attachment is described. The in-wall power adapter may comprise a first plurality of contact elements adapted to receive wires of a junction box, the first plurality of contact elements comprising a first contact element adapted to receive a power signal, a second contact element adapted to receive a neutral signal, and a third contact element adapted to provide the power signal to a load; a recess adapted to receive a control attachment; and a switch comprising a switch element having a first terminal adapted to receive the power signal and a second terminal adapted to provide the power signal to a load, and an actuator element coupled to the switch element to control the switch element; wherein the in-wall power adapter is adapted to control an application of the power signal received at the first contact element to a load in response to an actuation of the switch actuator.

An example system includes a first generator, a first power feeder, a second power feeder, a first load, a second load, and a plurality of contactors. The first power feeder and the second power feeder are coupled in parallel between the first generator and a power panel. The first load is coupled to the first power feeder, and the second load is coupled to the second power feeder. The plurality of contactors is configurable to transfer power in a first direction from the first generator to both the first load and the second load during a first mode of operation, and configurable to transfer power in a second direction from the power panel to the first load or the second load during a second mode of operation.

摘要: An assembly for connection to a high-voltage system has multiple single-phase transformers each having a transformer tank which is filled with a fluid and in which a core with at least one winding is situated. At least some of the windings of the single-phase transformers are connected to one another, forming a neutral point. A short-circuit voltage curve or impedance of the assembly can be adapted to different requirements. The windings are each connected to the neutral point via a switchover unit and a choke winding. The choke winding has multiple tappings, and the switchover unit is configured to select the tapping via which the winding in question is connected to the neutral point.

摘要: A two-wire load control device may be configured to compute an accurate estimate of real-time power consumption by a load that is electrically connected to, and controlled by, the two-wire load control device. The load control device may be adapted to measure a voltage drop across the device during a first portion of a half-cycle of an AC waveform provided to the device. The device may be further configured to estimate a voltage drop across the load during the second portion of the half-cycle. The estimated voltage drop may be based on the measured voltage drop. The device may be further configured to measure a current supplied to the load during a second portion of the half-cycle. The device may be configured to estimate power consumed by the load based on the measured current and the estimated voltage drop.

摘要: An irrigation system comprises an irrigation controller that receives user input and provides a power signal and command and message data to an encoder. The encoder encodes the command and message data onto the power signal to provide a data encoded power waveform that is sent over a two-wire path. The irrigation system further comprises one or more decoders in communication with the two-wire path to receive the data encoded power waveform and one or more irrigation valves in communication with the one or more decoders. The data encoded power waveform provides power to the decoders and the decoders decode the command and message data from the data encoded power waveform to control the irrigation valves according to the user input.

摘要: An electrosurgical generator supplies, during operation, a high-frequency alternating current to an electrosurgical instrument for plasma cutting of body tissue. The output voltage control unit is designed to control the AC output voltage depending on a maximum output voltage value that is set during operation depending on an output value of the impedance measuring unit and/or depending on an output value of the voltage measuring unit, such that the maximum output voltage value predefines a lower AC output voltage during a vaporization phase than during an ignition phase occurring subsequently to the vaporization phase.
