    摘要: A phase shift mask may include boundaries between phase shift regions with continuous sloped phase edges. The continuous sloped phase edges may be produced by introducing a predetermined degree of defocus into a beam used during production of the mask to image the pattern on the mask. Such a phase shift mask may be “trimless”, i.e., not require a corresponding binary “trim” mask for a second exposure to remove phase conflicts after exposure with the phase shift mask.

    摘要: Equidensity images can be produced directly on high contrast, thin emulsion, fine grain, silver halide process films, such as Kodak Technical Pan Film (RTM), given instantaneous outdoor camera exposure. Photographic development of the film in an aqueous alkaline solution containing a halogen- substituted hydroquinone such as 2-chlorohydroquinone, or 2-bromohydroquinone as developing agent, and thiourea, or a mono N-substituted derivative such as 1-allyl-2-thiourea, as "chemical solarizer", followed by fixation, produces continuous tone violet-blue (negative) and brown to olive-black (positive) images having applicability in semi-abstract artistic photography and in scientific photography.

    摘要: A development processing method comprises: exposing a silver halide light-sensitive material comprising a support having thereon at least one light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer; and developing said exposed light-sensitive material with a developing solution, wherein at least one of said silver halide emulsion layer and other hydrophilic colloidal layers contains at least one hydrazine derivative, and wherein said developing solution is substantially free from a dihydroxybenzene compound, has a pH of from 9.0 to 10.5, and contains (1) at least one ascorbic acid derivative developing agent, (2) at least one aminophenol auxiliary developing agent and (3) a specific mercaptopyrimidine compound. The processing method provides a high-contrast image required in the field of graphic arts using a developing solution having no problem with respect to the ecosystem and working environment, without causing silver stain even at a low replenishment rate.
