摘要: A soft contact lens comprises a plurality of light sources coupled to a plurality of optical elements. The plurality of light sources and the plurality of optical elements are embedded in a soft contact lens material. Each of said plurality of optical elements generates an image focused in front of a peripheral retina of a wearer. In some embodiments, each of the images is focused at a distance in front of the peripheral retina at a location, and each of the images comprises a depth of focus and a spatial resolution. The depth of focus can be less than the distance, and the spatial resolution greater than a spatial resolution of the peripheral retina at the location.

摘要: An apparatus to treat refractive error of an eye comprises an optic comprising an optical zone and a peripheral defocus optical structure to form images of a plurality of stimuli anterior or posterior to a peripheral portion of a retina of the eye. In some embodiments, the peripheral defocus optical structure located outside the optical zone. In some embodiments, the peripheral defocus optical structure comprises optical power to focus light to a different depth of the eye than the optical zone. In some embodiments, the optic comprises one or more of a lens, an optically transparent substrate, a beam splitter, a prism, or an optically transmissive support.

摘要: Using a camera pointing downward, a working area below eye level can be displayed by a headwear for users, so that the user can maintain healthy sitting or standing posture while working on patients or objects located below eye level. Using two or more cameras pointing downward, three-dimensional views with accurate and natural depth perception of a working area can be displayed by a headwear for users. Additional functions including eye protection, zoom-in, zoom-out, on-off, lighting control, overlapping, and teleconference capabilities are also supported using electronic, video and audio devices associated with the headwear. The headwear can also comprise a face shield designed to protect the user from hazardous droplets, aerosols, harmful wavelengths of light, heat, sparks, flash burn, debris and/or flying objects. Contactless control devices can be used to control the functions of the headwear.
