    摘要: A fire pit having a deflector ring that is received in a fire screen located on the top of the fire pit. The deflector ring has wall portions that are angled from 45 to 75 degrees for deflecting heat onto the feet, body, and head of users surrounding the fire pit, reducing smoke production, and for minimizing flame obstruction. The fire pit includes a pit body having a wall section and a top surface that defines a fire pit receptacle opening. A lower screen is located above the top surface. An upper screen is located above the lower screen. A frustum-shaped deflector is received in the lower screen. An outer surface of a wall portion of the deflector is for radiating heat onto a user's body and feet, and an inner surface of the wall portion of the deflector is for radiating heat onto a user's body and head.

    摘要: A retrofit firebox assembly includes a frame, a floor, and sidewalls. The frame has a plurality of vertically extending spaced apart tube members to which solid masonry units are mounted. The back wall has a metal plenum member with a lower vertical portion, a lower angled portion, a central vertical portion, an upper angled portion, and an upper vertical portion, positioned to form a smooth, symmetrical bulge in the back wall extending into the firebox. The solid masonry units are positioned on their respective frame members using clips that position, align, and support the units. The metal plenum provides spaces for air to flow into the firebox between the lower vertical portion and the lower angled portion; and between the lower angled portion and the central vertical portion.

    摘要: A high efficiency wood burning furnace assembly includes an internal firebox having a door positioned therein to access an interior of the internal firebox. An exhaust throat extends through an upper wall and a grate is mounted in the internal firebox and is spaced vertically above a lower wall. A primary diffuser is mounted within the internal firebox and is positioned adjacent the front wall and the grate. A primary air supply is in fluid communication with the primary diffuser to supply air to the primary diffuser such that the air is released along an upper surface of the grate. An air conduit is mounted in the internal firebox and extends upwardly from the primary diffuser. The air conduit releases air vertically above the grate and the primary diffuser. A front wall of the internal firebox has inlets extending therethrough that are fluidly coupled to the air conduit.
