    Abstract: A fire stump holds firewood and similar combustibles in a near-vertical stable position. Firewood is end-stacked upon a ground engaging base, further stabilizing the base. An upper generally planar firewood support is inset interiorly from the base, providing sufficient tilt to hold a plurality of stacked wood in an inverted funnel configuration. The upper firewood support has a perforate center defining a chimney hole and a perimeter defining a plurality of concave arcuate cut-outs that serve as firewood supports. A riser extends between the ground engaging base and upper firewood support, holding the two in parallel but vertically offset planes. In a most preferred embodiment, the ground engaging base and upper firewood support are stamped from a common sheet of metal, with the upper firewood support circumscribed in the original sheet of metal by the ground engaging base.

    Abstract: A portable, collapsible holder for a cooking container has a threaded collar that screws onto the neck of a chafing dish fuel container. Three panels are each rotatably connected to the collar with an offset hinge. The panels rotate between a first collapsed position in which the panels contact a top surface of the collar and a second position in which the panels are in a deployed position at an angle of about 105 to 155 degrees outward from the top surface. Rotation stops on the panel and collar limit the rotation.

    Abstract: The present invention is a freestanding and relocatable fireplace assembly having a unitary body including: a base, and a firebox, and a flue, wherein the fireplace can be assembled from a kit of parts, and once constructed, the fireplace is able to free stand upon its base on any suitable substantially level outdoor surface. A void is created between the bottom of the firebox and the base, which helps to insulate the region of the surface that the fireplace is placed upon, from the heat generated by a fire in the firebox. The bottom of the firebox includes a sloping floor that slopes towards the front of the fireplace, and at least the sidewalls of the firebox slope inwardly. When the fireplace needs to be relocated, it may be moved either as a whole, or in pieces, or is fully disassembled for easier storage and transportation. The fireplace assembly includes attachment means for a variety of accessories that can be used for cooking, heating or drying purposes. The fireplace assembly has at least some of its parts fabricated form a suitable sheet metal, and non-metallic parts may be fabricated from a suitable fire resistant fabric.
