摘要: A tapered fastener adapted to be installed in an unthreaded, tapered hole in a workpiece formed of a cast material is provided. The tapered fastener can have a head and a shank. The shank can have a tapering outer face with substantially the same tapering angle as the tapered hole in the workpiece. A thread forming screw thread in the tapering outer face forms threads in the unthreaded, tapered hole as the head drives the shank into the workpiece.

摘要: A clamping apparatus includes a spindle body and a nut element to be screwed together for decreasing a spacing between first and second clamping elements to clamp an object disposed therebetween. The nut element has roller bodies with a defined roller engagement structure axially rotatably secured on a receiving body of the nut element and distributed in circumferential direction. A plurality of engagement regions distributed and/or spaced apart on the spindle body each have one spindle body engagement structure. The roller engagement structures of the roller bodies engage or can engage the spindle body engagement structures of the spindle body. The nut element can be screwed to the spindle body by the mutually engaged engagement structures of the spindle body and of the roller bodies, in particular with rolling of the roller bodies on the spindle body. An apparatus and a vise having the clamping apparatus are also provided.

摘要: A connection assembly between two structures, the assembly including an assembly of two eccentric rings, one of which, the external ring, is fitted on the other, being formed as an insert, a bore of the internal ring being configured to fix to one of the structures using a fixing element, and the external ring being accommodated and retained in a through-opening of the other structure, at least one of the eccentric rings being made from a deformable material in order to at least compensate for a play when it is compressed by two retention and compression elements during assembly. Advantageously, it is thus possible to benefit from a mechanical play which facilitates the assembly and to eliminate this play during a tightening operation of the fixing element in order to improve a transfer of loads between the two structures.
