摘要： A metal collar attached in a through-hole of FRP member includes first and second collar members. The first collar member includes outer and inner circumferential surfaces. The outer circumferential surface is in contact with a hole inner circumferential surface of the through-hole. A slit is formed in a part in a circumferential direction of the first collar member. The second collar member applies a pressing force radially outward to at least a part of the inner circumferential surface of the first collar member or a pressing force to inner surfaces of the slit in a direction in which the inner surfaces separate from each other in the circumferential direction. The second collar member is held in the first collar member by reaction of the pressing force, deforms the first collar member for diameter expansion with the pressing force, and presses the outer circumferential surface against the hole inner circumferential surface.

摘要： A toggle fastener includes an arm extending along a first axis and defining a threaded opening through the arm along a direction perpendicular to the first axis the toggle fastener. A rachet strap extends along a second axis and is pivotally coupled to the arm adjacent a proximal end of the rachet strap. The arm and rachet strap cooperate to block the arm and rachet strap from aligning. Pivoting the arm and the rachet strap relative to each other about a first direction, the angle between the first and second axes can be reduced to a first angle before further pivoting is blocked in a first blocking configuration of the toggle fastener. Attempting to pivot the rachet strap further in the first direction relative to the arm causes the rachet strap to recoverably flex.

摘要： The present disclosure relates to an insert and system of installing the same. The insert includes a tapered core and a cylinder. The core releasably secures to an installation device which includes a depth stop or a depth control to control the installation depth of the insert. The insert may be provided in a tray that allows for easier handling of the inserts and installation thereof in installation holes, for example in a hydraulic manifold. In some cases, the core includes a threaded hole to releasably secure the insert to the installation device, thus allowing the installation device to pull the core into the cylinder. The core and cylinder may be made of metallic materials such as steels, steel alloys and others. In some cases the insert can withstand blow out pressures of 40,000 psi or higher.

摘要： Improvements in a hollow wall fastener that uses a cylindrical outer casing with an outer lip to distribute vertical load stress to the wall more efficiently by reducing high-load stress points and centering mass nearer the wall. The fastener uses arms that deploy and install in a reaching and spreading motion that allows the center of tension and load to remain closer to the wall. The housing uses channeled grooves that align the arms with the cylindrical outer casing. The fastener is adjustable prior to installation to set the thickness of the wall for an optimal grip. The arms secure the fastener by direct pressure applied from opposite directions along the z-axis, perpendicular to the interior wall. The arms can be retracted back into the cylindrical outer housing for removal of the fastener from the wall, ceiling, or floor.
