摘要: A fuel system includes a fuel injector, and a fueling control unit electrically connected to a solenoid actuator in the fuel injector. The fueling control unit is structured to energize and deenergize the solenoid actuator to lift and return an armature coupled with an injection control valve. The fueling control unit also reenergizes the solenoid actuator with an armature retarding current while the armature is in flight to stabilize closing of the injection control valve. The armature retarding current can be used to electronically trim the fuel injector to limit an error in a quantity of injected fuel.

摘要: A control device controls a drive current that flows through a drive coil of a fuel injection valve that is electromagnetically driven. A control device includes a determination unit configured to determine whether a supply fuel pressure, which is a pressure of fuel supplied to the fuel injection valve, is higher than a determination pressure at which the fuel pressure is determined abnormally high; a first control unit configured to control the drive current in a first mode when the determination unit determines that the supply fuel pressure is not higher than the determination pressure; and a second control unit configured to control the drive current in a second mode that facilitates maintaining of the fuel injection valve in an open state more than in the first mode when the determination unit determines that the supply fuel pressure is higher than the determination pressure.

摘要: Disclosed is a method for controlling a DC/DC voltage converter for controlling the current of at least one fuel injector of an internal combustion engine of a motor vehicle, the vehicle including a supply battery and the converter including a coil and a switch. The method includes the steps of measuring the value of the voltage delivered by the battery, of determining a threshold value of the current passing through the coil from the measured value of the voltage and from a predetermined curve of the current as a function of the voltage, and of actuating the opening of the switch when the current passing through the coil reaches the determined threshold value of the current in order to regulate the power of the converter.

摘要: A method for injecting a predetermined total fuel quantity via multiple injections using a fuel injector having a solenoid drive for an internal combustion engine of a motor vehicle is disclosed. The method includes determining a first target injection quantity to be injected per injection to inject the total fuel quantity throughout a series of consecutive injections; and performing a first subseries of consecutive injections, where the fuel injector is actuated according to the first target injection quantity. The method also includes determining a first fuel quantity injected during the first subseries of injections; determining a second target injection quantity to be injected per injection in a second subseries of consecutive injections, to inject the total fuel quantity throughout the first subseries and the second subseries of consecutive injections; and performing the second subseries of injections. The fuel injector is actuated according to the second target injection quantity.

摘要: Disclosed is a method for controlling a DC-DC voltage converter for driving with current at least one fuel injector of a motor-vehicle internal combustion engine. The method includes, when the transistor is switched from the off state to the on state, triggering a counter for measuring time, and, if at the end of a preset time called the “observation” time, the amplitude of the peak current has not reached its maximum value, steps of commanding that transistor so that the transistor switches from the on state to the off state, of keeping the transistor in the off state for a preset time called the “cooling time”, and of commanding the transistor so that the transistor switches to the on state at the end of the cooling time.

摘要: The disclosure relates to a method for determining a drift in the static fuel flow rate of a piezoelectric injector of a motor vehicle combustion engine. The method relies on fluid-pressure measurements carried out in the injector supply chamber in order to calculate a measured static flow rate value. This value is compared against a nominal static flow rate in order to determine the existence, if any, and amplitude of the drift in the static flow rate. Furthermore, each pressure measurement is carried out when the valve of the injector is closed and the injector is open. In this way, the measured static flow rate calculation is not influenced by pressure-variation effects not relevant to the measurement.
