A synthetic formation can be generated based on one or more imaging properties. A tool response of an imaging tool operating according to one or more operational parameters can be simulated to generate a synthetic tool response. A change to at least one of the one or more imaging properties and the one or more operational parameters can be identified. The tool response of the imaging tool operating according to the change can be simulated to generate a modified synthetic tool response. A representation of the modified synthetic tool response can be reproduced to show an effect of the change to at least one of the one or more imaging properties and the one or more operational parameters on the tool response of the imaging tool.

摘要: In one aspect, a drone is disclosed for inspecting a wellhead having a transceiver and adjusting an electronic choke. The drone includes a plurality of propellers and a plurality of electric motors where each of the plurality of electric motors is connected to one or more of the plurality of propellers. The drone further includes a camera that captures a survey of the wellhead, a processor coupled to a memory that controls the plurality of electric motors based on the survey to position the drone within a transmission range of the transceiver of the wellhead, and a transceiver of the drone coupled to the processor that receives wellhead data from the transceiver of the wellhead and stores the wellhead data in the memory. In other aspects, a method for operating a drone and a non-transitory computer readable medium (CRM) storing instructions for performing operation of a drone are also disclosed.

摘要: A low torque warning system is provided for an apparatus for making and breaking-up pipe connections. The low torque warning system includes a torque cylinder having a poppet valve and torque gauge connected thereto for measuring the pressure in the torque cylinder. A tank in communication with the torque cylinder for receiving oil from the torque cylinder when the poppet valve is opened. The hydraulic valve is then connected to the torque cylinder between the torque cylinder and the tank that when closed prevents the oil in the torque cylinder from draining to the tank, allowing the torque gauge to measure the pressure in the torque cylinder when the poppet valve is open.

摘要: An adapter is provided for presenting a diamond composite, such as a TSDC, which is bonded therein by a metal matrix composite material. The adapter body is suitable to be received in a complimentary mount formed on a wear face of a wear tool. The approach described allows for machining of individual adapters to provide a precise fit within the wear tool mount without the need for challenging machining of the diamond composite or overcoming the difficulties in precisely bonding multiple diamond composites into their complimentary mounts.

The apparatus and method disclosed account for the actual downhole conditions experienced by the RSS, the actual positioning of the RSS, and historical performance of the surface systems such as the mud pump system, the rotary drive system, and the draw works. These closed-loop systems generate and optimize parameters or target outputs, instructions to surface systems, and instructions for the RSS itself.

摘要: Methods and systems for measuring cluster efficiency for stages of wellbores are provided herein. One method includes selecting a frequency band for generating broadband tube waves within the fluid column of the wellbore and generating the broadband tube waves within the fluid column of the wellbore using a pressure pulse generator that is hydraulically coupled to the wellbore. The method also includes recording data corresponding to the broadband tube waves and reflected broadband tube waves using pressure receivers that are hydraulically coupled to the wellbore. The pressure receivers are arranged into arrays with two or more pressure receivers in each array. The data recorded by the pressure receivers relate to characteristics of reflectors (including perforation cluster/fracture interfaces) within the wellbore. The method further includes processing the recorded data using interferometry and performing full waveform inversion(s) on the processed data to determine frequency-dependent, complex-valued reflection coefficients at each perforation cluster/fracture interface.
