    摘要： A latch assembly for use in a storage container is provided, and comprises a bracket having a body, a first side, and a second side, the bracket being releasably secured to the first or the second body component of the storage container. The first side includes a protruding segment. The body includes at least one slot positioned thereon, the bracket being secured to the storage container via a fastener inserted through the at least one slot. The latch assembly also includes a handle secured to the bracket. When the handle is moved in a first direction, the bracket moves from a latched position to an unlatched position where the protruding segment passes through a lock box assembly, and when the handle is moved in a second direction, the bracket moves from an unlatched position to a latched position where the lock box assembly blocks movement of the protruding segment. The latch assembly is used in conjunction with a lock system.

    摘要： An automobile safe that attaches to anchor loops of an automobile seat comprises a safe enclosure, a safe lid, and one or more engaging members. The safe enclosure has one or more apertures through which the engaging members are disposed. The engaging members have a hook on a first end and a fastening device on a second end, wherein the first end is disposed outside the safe enclosure and the second end is disposed inside the safe enclosure. The hooks engage the anchor loops of the seat, and the fastening members secure the engaging members to the safe enclosure. When the safe is closed and locked, the fastening devices of the engaging members cannot be accessed to disengage from the safe enclosure. Because the engaging members cannot be disengaged from the seat anchors when the lid is closed and locked, the automobile safe cannot be removed from the vehicle.

    摘要： An apparatus (10) for spoiling banknotes (103) arranged in a block formation within a cassette (100). The apparatus (10) comprises a cassette (100) for carrying a block of banknotes (103), a main housing (20) in which is located at least one cartridge (31) containing a spoiling fluid, and first and second spray bars (61, 62) extending from the housing (20). The spray bars (61, 62) are in fluid communication with the at least one cartridge (31), and the main housing (20) further comprises a valve (40) configured to release the spoiling fluid from the at least one cartridge (31) and into the spray bars (61, 62). In use, the first spray bar (61) extends across the length and proximate a first end of the block of banknotes (103) within the cassette (100) and the second spray bar (62) extends across the length and proximate a second end of the block of banknotes (103) within the cassette (100). The spray bars (61, 62) disperse the spoiling fluid over first and second ends and along the entire length of the block of banknotes (103) within the cassette (100) and a central portion along the entire length of the block of banknotes (103) remains free from spoiling fluid.

The kiosk may include at least one display, an imaging chamber that includes at least one camera and one or more mirrors fixedly-arranged to capture images of a portable electronic device, at least one communication connection to a remote server and/or operator, and at least one computer. The computer may be configured to, in conjunction with the remote server and/or operator, capture one or more images of the portable electronic device in the imaging chamber while said at least one camera and said mirrors remain in unchanged positions. The computer may also transmit the captured images to the remote server and/or operator, receive an acceptance of the offered payment amount based upon an offered payment amount for the portable electronic device received from the remote server and/or operator, and provide for secure deposit of the portable device in the kiosk.
