Abstract:
The present application relates to an installation method for a closure joint of an immersed tunnel, and belongs to the technical field of closure joints; the installation method comprises the steps: establishing a first coordinate system; distributing feature points; installing the N+2 tube coupling; installing an N+1 tube coupling and pushing out a push-out segment; wherein, the first coordinate system is established at a tail end of an N+3 tube coupling, breakthrough points N+1S and N+1W are distributed at a head end and a tail end of a N+1 tube coupling respectively, breakthrough points DS and DW are distributed at a push-out segment, and breakthrough points N+2S and N+2W are distributed at a head end and a tail end of a N+2 tube coupling respectively; and coordinates of the breakthrough points DS, DW, N+1S, N+1W, N+2S, N+2W in the first coordinate system are calculated respectively; the installation method can improve the installation accuracy of the closure joint and is easy to operate.
Abstract:
A method for designing and fabricating a mine seal includes determining an initial thickness for a mine seal based on a predetermined underground opening, developing and solving a numerical model for response of the mine seal upon application of a blasting pressure, and determining whether the mine seal meets predetermined design criteria. A mine seal having a minimum seal thickness may be fabricated after determining the mine seal meets the predetermined design criteria.
Abstract:
An improved collapsible fixture for fabrication of tunnel modules and tunnel sections for building underwater tunnel tubes is provided. The fixture has a series of shell-like support members along its length, each member having a stationary base portion, two rotatable side portions and a connecting foldable linkage portion. A common truss is connected to each of the foldable linkage portions and is activated by a plurality of hydraulically operated cylinders connected to the wheel core member of the fixture. In order to collapse the fixture, moveable radial spoke members in the shell-like support members are connected to sliding plate members which are moveably attached to hub plates on the wheel core member.
Abstract:
The present application relates to the field of immersed tube jointing, and more particularly relates to a post-grouting method for an immersed tube joint base. The post-grouting method includes the following steps: before locked backfilling of immersed tubes to be implanted, disposing a grouting tube capable of outputting solidifiable slurry in a furrow below immersed tubes; and after the locked backfilling, grouting the immersed tubes by using the grouting tube. For the purposes of adjusting postures and heights of the immersed tubes in case of abnormal settlement during installation, solving the problems on the stabilities and the service lives of immersed tube joints due to settlement of gravel mattresses or a geologic structure thereunder after installation, and enabling the immersed tubes to achieve a better bearing effect on a load during use, the present application provides the post-grouting method for the immersed tube joint base.
Abstract:
This invention relates to improved apparatus and process for manufacture of tunnel modules and tunnel sections used to build underwater tunnel tubes. A collapsible fixture is situated to roll up flat steel plate into a circular shell for the tunnel modules. A hydraulic cylinder is utilized to adjust the diameter of the fixture without collapsing it, in order to close any gaps between the ends of the plate when it is rolled into a shell.
