摘要: A system and method for folding a discrete absorbent sanitary product includes conveying a product in a machine direction along a main conveyor, folding the product at a first folding station, and later folding the absorbent sanitary product at a second folding station. The product is folded at each of the first and second folding stations by engaging the product with a first drum and rotating the absorbent sanitary product in a first rotational direction, contacting the product with one or more folding fingers traveling in the machine direction, engaging the product with a rotating member adjacent to the first drum and downstream therefrom in the machine direction, the rotating member rotating in the first rotational direction, and folding the product over the one or more folding fingers via rotation of the rotating member in the first rotational direction.

摘要: A transport mechanism and a method for transporting objects are disclosed. The transport mechanism includes a transport unit, a vacuum belt conveyor unit, and a push-type transport unit. The vacuum belt conveyor unit receives objects from the transport unit and conveys the received objects to the push-type transport unit. The vacuum belt conveyor unit can generate a vacuum force to adhere the plurality of objects thereon. When the vacuum belt conveyor unit stops conveying the objects carried thereon, the objects adhered to the vacuum belt conveyor unit would block the objects being transported by the transport unit, and when the vacuum belt conveyor unit starts to convey the objects carried thereon to the push-type transport unit, the transport unit would immediately transport more objects to the vacuum belt conveyor unit. Thus, with the vacuum belt conveyor unit, the objects are conveyed to the push-type transport unit and the position of objects is also accurately controlled.

摘要: A magnetic chip conveyor of the present invention reduces the possibility that both end portions of a long chip are adsorbed by two or more types of magnets having different magnetic forces, so that a long chip does not remain. An endless chain is disposed on the rear surface of a plate, so as to be wound around sprocket wheels. The sprocket wheel is rotated in the counterclockwise direction by a motor, and the endless chain rotates in the counterclockwise direction. Twelve magnet holders are fixed to the endless chain at equal intervals. Three types of permanent magnets having different magnetic forces are bonded and fixed to the magnet holders.
