摘要: A modular floating platform connector includes a connecting unit with a hollow center chamber that has one or more inside diameters. The chamber may have wall surfaces to secure components to modular floating platforms. The connector may further incorporate one or more external features such as a collar and retaining ribs that engage with the connecting tabs on modular floating platform float modules to securely hold the float modules together and to retain attachment members of accessories, fixtures, structures and other components to modular floating platforms.

摘要: A modular boat can be adapted to meet various desired shapes and uses, and can be transportable. The modular boat can include multiple sections configured to be joined together by rod-connection(s), by interlock-connection(s), or both. Each section can be joined to other section(s) to form and use the modular boat, and can be separated from the other section(s) for transportation. Each section can extend from bow to stern and can be joined to the other section(s) at a junction extending from bow to stern. Each rod-connection can include a hole extending perpendicular to the junction, through the sections across the modular boat, and a rod extending through the hole. Each interlock-connection can include a a key inserted into a slot of an adjacent section at the junction.

摘要: An apparatus and methods according to the present invention provides a human powered catamaran-styled watercraft and methods of configuring and operating the watercraft. The watercraft generally comprises at least one hull in communication with a folding collapsible frame, wherein in the frame comprises a center rack pivotally joining hulls of hull sets to provide for common pivoting of the hulls during articulation of the watercraft, thereby the hulls and frame are in further communication through a at least one pivot pad which provides for slidable pivoting of the hulls during articulation of the watercraft. A method of folding and reversibly extending the watercraft to provide for optimized storage is provided. A method of operation of the watercraft to provide for articulation of the watercraft is provided.

摘要: A method of assembling a floating wind turbine platform includes forming a base assembly of the floating wind turbine platform in either a cofferdam or a graving dock built in water having a first depth. The base assembly includes a keystone and a plurality of buoyant bottom beams extending radially outward of the keystone, wherein longitudinal axes of each of the plurality of bottom beams are coplanar. The cofferdam or the graving dock is flooded and the assembled base assembly is floated to an assembly area in water having a second depth. A center column and a plurality of outer columns are assembled or formed on the base assembly, a tower is assembled or formed on the center column, and a wind turbine is assembled on the tower, thereby defining the floating wind turbine platform.

摘要: An easily assembled highly portable watercraft comprising a modular boat system that seats one or more operators and is comprised of four or more pontoons connected to downward-sloping diagonally-placed outrigger beams with attached stiffeners connecting to a bridge-deck. The portable watercraft can be rowed, poled, propelled by fins or propellers, and sailed, for example, by an operator situated on the bridge-deck. The pontoons, outriggers, bridge-deck, and other aspects are easily interchangeable to conform to numerous configurations making a custom watercraft that is tailorable to varying water conditions.

摘要: A collapsible water vessel has a center hull section, a first plurality of hull extensions longitudinally slidable through an opening at a first end of the center hull section between extended and collapsed positions, and a second plurality of hull extensions longitudinally slidable through an opening at a second end of the center hull section between extended and collapsed positions. When the first plurality of hull extensions are in the extended configuration, adjacent hull extensions thereof form a sealing contact therebetween and an inboard most hull extension thereof forms a sealing contact with the center hull section. And when the second plurality of hull extensions are in the extended configuration, adjacent hull extensions thereof form a sealing contact therebetween and an inboard most hull extension thereof forms a sealing contact with the center hull section.
