    摘要: A wide-neck synthetic resin container has a neck, a body and a bottom. A top side of the neck is sealed by a cap. The neck includes a neck tubular section, an engagement section protruding outward therefrom and engaging the cap, and a flange protruding outward at the top side. The flange protrudes less than the engagement section. The neck's top side includes a first top side formed by the neck tubular section, and a second top side formed by the flange that is the same height level with the first top side and increases an area of the top side. The neck tubular section has a uniform thickness at an area immediately below the flange and an area where the engagement section is formed. A thickness of the flange is smaller than that of the neck tubular section, and the neck has been crystallized.

    摘要: The present disclosure provides a molding system for preparing injection-molded articles. The molding system includes a molding machine; a mold disposed on the molding machine and having a mold cavity for being filled with a molding resin; a processing module configured to generate a mixed anisotropic viscosity distribution of the molding resin in the mold cavity based on a molding condition for the molding machine; and a controller coupled to the processing module. The mixed anisotropic viscosity distribution of the molding resin is generated by taking into consideration an extension rate distribution and a shear rate distribution of the molding resin. The controller is configured to control the molding machine with the molding condition using the generated extension rate distribution and the generated shear rate distribution of the molding resin to perform an actual molding process for preparing the injection-molded article.

    摘要: A method of hydroforming a container from a preform. During the method, an injection nozzle is moved from a retracted position, where the nozzle is spaced away from the neck of the preform, to an intermediate position, where contact is established between a first contact surface of the nozzle and the finish of the preform. The nozzle is then moved from the intermediate position to an injection position, where a second contact surface of the nozzle abuts an abutment surface and the neck is axially compressed. With the nozzle in the injection position, a liquid is injected from the nozzle into the preform causing the preform to expand and form the container.

A molten plastic parison may be provided into the mold when the mold is open, the mold may be closed and the parison may be expanded against the forming surface so that a portion of the parison enters the recessed area. The portion of the parison within the recessed area may be formed by moving a secondary forming feature relative to the mold and parison to define a mount feature.

    摘要: A blown plastic container that includes a hollow plastic body, an integral blow-molded neck and an integral blow-molded finish with a radially outwardly extending blow-molded thread or bead for retaining a closure on the finish. Reinforcement is provided between the thread or bead and a ledge on the finish to prevent collapse of the finish when a closure is applied to the finish. In one form, this reinforcement includes blow-molded axial columns extending radially outwardly. In another form, the reinforcement includes geometric depressions. Preferably, the reinforcement is disposed circumferentially at equal spacing. When the container is trimmed, the finish may have an annular frustoconical radial ledge spaced form the open end of the finish. The reinforcement extends between the ledge and the lowest thread or bead, between the thread or bead, or for the full height of the finish above the ledge.
