摘要: A plate body is configured from a bottom part, a side surface part, and a flange part, and is formed in a concave shape, whereby the thickness of the bottom part of the plate body is reduced and the flexibility of a plate is increased. Reducing the thickness of the bottom part of the plate body reduces the length of screws for attaching a snowboard and prevents the screws from inhibiting the flexibility of the plate.

摘要: Binding systems for recreational boards are provided. A binding system is mounted atop a rider-support surface of the board. The binding system comprises: a pair of rails locatable on opposing sides of a generally flattened foot-receiving surface for the rider's foot, each rail comprising a central portion mountable to the recreational board, a toe-side leg which extends from the central portion toward a toe-side of the recreational board and a heel-side leg which extends from the central portion toward a heel-side of the recreational board. Each rail comprising at least one deformation-enhancing feature for enhancing an ability of the rail to deform elastically relative to the board.

摘要: The invention is an accessory boardsport foot-binding mounting plate. The invention provides a means for the rapid adjustment of foot-binding mounting angles without the use of tools. The invention is comprised of two concentric discs, which, in isolation from each other, have no moving parts. The invention is to be mounted between a foot-binding and a board. When mounted, the upper disc can be manually rotated over the lower disc, clockwise and counterclockwise, to effect a rotational lock and unlock of the foot-binding. When unlocked, the foot-binding drops approximately 1/10th of an inch, disengages from its retaining plate, and can be freely rotated to any desired angle in 360 degrees on the plane of the board. The foot-binding angle can be changed with or without the users foot actively strapped into the foot-binding.

摘要: A splitboard (90) having a first ski (92L) releasably attachable to a second ski (92R) and operable in a snowboard mode and in a ski mode. Corresponding toe brackets (140) are attached to the first and second skis. A pair of forward slider blocks (130) and a pair of rear slider blocks (130) are attached to the first and second skis. Left and right bindings (100L, 100R) include front hook portions (116) configured to releasably engage the corresponding toe brackets. The bindings are configured to slidably engage the forward and rear slider blocks in snowboard mode. Pull loops (120) are pivotable between a lock position, wherein a blocking portion (123) of the pull loop extends through an aperture in the binding to engage the slider block in the lock position. A heel stop (112) extends down from the binding to limit the forward slide of the binding.

摘要: The disclosure is directed to a spacer block for elevating a boot of a rider of a snowboard. Due to the elevation of the boot above the snowboard, the boot drag of the rider is reduced. The spacer block is installed between the snowboard and a binding system of the snowboard that secures the rider's feet to the snowboard. By adding the spacer between the snowboard and the binding system, the boots are now elevated above the snowboard, and the rider can make sharper, more angled turns without the toes or heel of their boot contacting the snow. While the application describes the spacer block to be used with a snowboard, the spacer block can be used with boards for other recreational activities where boot drag is a problem. For example, the spacer block can be used with boards for gliding on sand, or with boards for rolling on ground.

摘要: A puck system achieves adjustable stance in three degrees of freedom—foot placement, foot angulation, and crosswise centering—on a snow gliding board. The puck system includes pairs of puck assemblies for each rider's foot. Puck assemblies are formed from a sliderblock, a flanged disk, and fasteners for each puck. To achieve crosswise centering, the sliderblock is patterned on a top face so as to engage a detent on the underside of the flanged disk in one of many crosswise positions. In a preferred embodiment, the patterned surface includes stepwise offset circular grooves, the grooves providing rotational freedom of angulation at multiple axes of rotation according to the crosswise displacement of the sliderblock in the mounting channel, thereby realizing independent, finely granular adjustment of stance and center of balance for the first time. The system may be used with most boot binding interfaces on the market and may be adapted for either splitboards or snowboards. Also offered are alignment tools for improving and simplifying ride mode interface setup. Advantageously, the system preserves optimal torsional stiffness K, a key parameter of performance in splitboarding and snowboarding.
