Abstract: A diaper guard device is provided. The device is designed for placement on a user's body beneath a diaper to shield the genital area from contact with waste, thereby preventing rashes and infections. The device comprises a body made from a medical-grade, absorbent, and anti-bacterial fabric material, wherein the body generally features a first end with one or two tabs and a second end with at least one tab for secure attachment. These tabs, along with a skin-safe, water-resistant, or waterproof adhesive fastener located on the rear surface of the body, facilitate the attachment of the device to the user's skin, ensuring that it remains in place to provide the intended protective barrier. During use, the device does not inhibit waste movement within the diaper but effectively prevents direct contact of waste with the genital area, thereby reducing the risk of skin irritation and infections.

Abstract: A stretchable sheet includes a first sheet, a second sheet joined to the first sheet by welded portions, and an elastic member that is disposed between the first sheet and the second sheet and stretches and contracts in a continuous direction in which the elastic member extends. Abstract: The present disclosure relates to methods and apparatuses for stretching, transferring, and bonding elastic parts under tension to an advancing carrier substrate during the assembly of absorbent articles. A continuous carrier substrate may be advanced in a machine direction at a first speed, and a discrete elastic part may be cut from a continuous elastic substrate having a direction of stretch in a cross direction. The speed of the discrete elastic part is changed from a second speed to the first speed, and the central region of the discrete elastic part is stretched in the cross direction. The discrete elastic part is bonded with the continuous carrier substrate such that the stretched central region extends in the cross direction between the first and second longitudinal edges of the continuous carrier substrate. The discrete elastic part may also be bonded with the carrier substrate with adhesive and/or mechanical bonds.

Abstract: A stretch laminate is disclosed. The stretch laminate may include a plurality of elastic strands space apart from each other in a crotch-stretch direction. In some examples the elastic strands may have an Average Strand Spacing no greater than 3 mm and/or an Average Decitex no greater than 300, and/or an Average Pre-Strain no greater than 250 percent.
