摘要： Compositions, products, systems, kits, and methods of perming hair may include a first-product (perming lotion) that contains cysteamine and cysteine, such that the first-product is used to break preexisting disulfide bonds in hair, and then a second-product may be applied directly over (on top of) the first-product to neutralize the effects of the first-product without first rinsing the hair to remove the first-product, so that disulfide bonds in the hair may form to set the treated hair into a desired shape with desired curls, waves, texture, and/or style. Various on-the-rod, off-the-rod, and/or perm tools may be used to maintain the hair in the desired shape until the first-product and the second-product have finished acting on the hair and/or on each other. The Compositions, products, systems, kits, and methods of perming hair are vegan, cruelty free, paraben free, sulfate surfactant free, use minimal water, and are without thioglycolic acid.

摘要： The present disclosure relates to a method for styling mammalian hair fibers, including providing body, straightening, relaxing, curling, or applying any other desired modification to the shape of the hair. The method comprises applying a hair styling composition comprising at least one hair-penetrating phenol-based monomer to the hair, allowing the monomers to penetrate within the hair and curing such monomers to internally form a polymer able to overcome the tendency of the hair to revert to its native shape. When curing is performed while the hair is in a desired modified shape, the resulting polymers may maintain the modified shape. Suitable compositions and kits allowing to prepare the same are also disclosed.

The shape memory polymer forms a crosslinked network coating on a substrate, for example a substrate selected from keratinous substrates, for example, hair. Hair coated with the shape memory polymer and treated with an oxidizing agent can be shaped, locked into shape, and reprogrammed by modulation of pH. The coated hair retains durable shaping properties through at least one shampoo treatment. The cosmetic compositions, systems and methods provide durable and reprogrammable durable shaping of the keratinous substrate, for example for styling hair.
