Abstract:
When a vehicle is located in a predetermined position M, a steering amount guide mark is moved on a steering start guide line as a steering angle is increased by turning a steering wheel. The steering amount guide mark has a size according to the steering angle of the steering wheel at that time. When the steering angle becomes suitable, the steering amount guide mark has the same size as a target parking space T. Thus, a driver can more instinctively recognize the suitable steering angle of the steering wheel. Further, the driver can easily judge by observing the locus line of a left-hand forward corner portion of the vehicle whether or not the left-hand forward corner portion of the self-vehicle that particularly needed to be known in column parking on the left-hand side of a road interferes with a certain obstacle during a path until the target parking space T.
Abstract:
An electronic imaging device has a reproduction section which reproduces at least one of a thumbnail image and a full image, display section to display reproduced at least one of the thumbnail image and the full image, a scene select section which selects a desired thumbnail image and outputs a scene select signal, and display controller to display a full image corresponding to the desire thumbnail signal in the display section based on the scene select signal output at the end, and the display controller controls the record reproduction section before reproducing the full image corresponding to the thumbnail image based on the scene select signal output at the end when the plurality of scene select signals are input.
Abstract:
An electronic camera comprises an encoding/decoding unit for compressing/decompressing digital data obtained by an image sensing unit and processed by a signal processing unit, a recording medium for recording the encoded data, a display control unit which outputs a display image signal upon reception of an output from the signal processing unit and incorporates a character generator for a frame number display, and a display for displaying an image and a frame number on the basis of an output from the display control unit, wherein when a change of the display frame number is instructed by increment and decrement switches, a frame number being displayed, a frame number to be displayed, and an arrow representing shift of the display are superimposed and displayed on an image being displayed.
Abstract:
An observation apparatus is equipped with a light-emitting portion for shining light onto an observation object, an image detector for receiving light reflected from or passing through the observation object, a light emission period establisher for establishing a light emission period for the light-emitting portion, and a light emission controller which activates the light-emitting portion to emit light synchronous with a vertical synchronizing signal of the image detector, and which terminates the emission of light from the light-emitting portion after the established light emission period has elapsed.
Abstract:
A digital camera 1 includes a main body 2 and an image pickup section 3 connected to the main body rotatably. The main body 2 has a display monitor 10 which displays an object picture. A switch SCPOS2 detects rotation position of the image pickup section 3. When the image pickup direction of the image pickup section 3 is detected to agree generally with the direction to the side of display monitor, the image data taken by the image pickup section is displayed in the display monitor with reversal upside down, while it is recorded without reversal in an IC card 35. Thus, when a photographer takes a picture thereof, the picture can be taken and recorded at a fast speed without a complicated and expensive circuit.
Abstract:
An apparatus for displaying an image captured by a video camera displays a window of the captured image, buttons displayed about the window for scrolling the image, and a sizing button displayed adjacent the window for enlarging/reducing the size of the window. If an operator wishes to pan, tilt or zoom the video camera, the operator manipulates the scroll buttons and sizing button for scrolling the image horizontally or vertically and sizing the window. The apparatus causes the camera to tilt or pan in accordance with the scrolling of the window by the scrolling operation and causes the camera to zoom in or out in accordance with the sizing operation. The apparatus is adapted to display an icon which is a miniature image of the image captured by the video camera. When this icon is selected, the application using the video camera is started. The icon is not displayed if the video camera is operating abnormally.
Abstract:
An electronic camera includes a menu switch for displaying, on a display, the first print mode of printing only image data and the second print mode of superimposing and printing attendant data on image data, increment and decrement switches for moving menu items, and an execution switch for determining and executing a target item, wherein when an image file recorded on a recording medium is to be displayed on the display, if the electronic camera is in the first print mode, attendant data is superimposed and displayed on image data after the start of display, and display is switched to display of only the image data after a predetermined period, or if the electronic camera is in the second print mode, attendant data is always superimposed and displayed on image data during display.
Abstract:
A digital still camera comprises a full image processor and a rough image processor. The full image processor generates compressed full image data as primary image data, while the rough image processor generates non-compressed rough image data as secondary image data whose data volume has been reduced by limiting pixels thereof. In a reproduction mode, rough image data is read from a memory and subjected to display processing. A rough image is generated based on non-compressed rough image data with a short reproduction waiting time and displayed on an image display device. Thereafter, corresponding full image data is processed for display so that a relevant full image replaces the displayed rough image data, to be finally displayed.
Abstract:
An electronic still camera comprises: a image pick-up section including a front surface and a image pick-up lens provided on the front surface; an image receiving section having a rear surface and a monitor provided on the rear surface, for displaying an image which has been taken; and a connecting portion for pivotally connecting between one end of the image pick-up section and one end of the image receiving section, the connecting portion including a vertical shaft such that the monitor is set being opposite to the image pick-up lens when the image receiving section is rotated backward round the vertical shaft, and the monitor is set being faced with the image pick-up lens when the image receiving section is rotated forward round the vertical shaft.
Abstract:
A video signal is processed to identify segments that are likely to be associated with a commercial or other particular type of video content. A signature is extracted from each of the segments so identified, and the extracted signatures are used, possibly in conjunction with additional temporal and contextual information, to determine which of the identified segments are in fact associated with the particular video content. One or more of the extracted signatures may be, e.g., a visual frame signature based at least in part on a visual characteristic of a frame of the video segment, as determined using information based on DC and motion coefficients of the frame, or DC and AC coefficients of the frame. A given extracted signature may alternatively be an audio signature based at least in part on a characteristic of an audio signal associated with a portion of the video segment. Other types of signatures can also be used. Advantageously, the invention allows the identification and extraction of particular video content to be implemented with significantly reduced amounts of memory and computational resources.
