摘要: A method for transmitting a data resource acquisition request includes: when transmitting an acquisition request for a first data resource, obtaining, by a first node, locally-stored traffic scheduling policies of a plurality of secondary nodes associated with a resource server to which the first data resource belongs, wherein the traffic scheduling policies are generated by each of the plurality of secondary nodes based on a local traffic load status; selecting, by the first node, a target node among the plurality of secondary nodes based on the traffic scheduling policies of the plurality of secondary nodes; and transmitting, by the first node, the acquisition request for the first data resource to the target node.

摘要: Technologies for controlling jitter at network packet egress at a source computing device include determining a switch time delta as a difference between a present switch time and a previously captured switch time upon receipt of a network packet scheduled for transmission to a target computing device and determining a host scheduler time delta as a difference between a host scheduler timestamp associated with the received network packet and a previously captured host scheduler timestamp. The source computing device is additionally configured to determine an amount of previously captured tokens present in a token bucket, determine whether there are a sufficient number of tokens available in the token bucket to transmit the received packet as a function of the switch time delta, the host scheduler time delta, and the amount of previously captured tokens present in the token bucket, and schedule the received network packet for transmission upon a determination that sufficient tokens in the token bucket.

摘要: In various embodiments, methods and systems for implementing network traffic flow logging in a distributed computing system are provided. At a high level, the network traffic flow logger is implemented using a network traffic flow logger framework that includes a plurality of modular network traffic flow logging objects for adjustable processing of network flow events. In operation, a plurality of tokens is counted at a first throttling rate. The first throttling rate is associated with a maximum number of tokens threshold. The maximum number of tokens threshold is an adjustable threshold. A flow event is accessed, where flow events are quantified based on tokens. The flow event is queued, based on a count of the plurality of tokens or the maximum number of tokens threshold. Based on queueing the flow event, the first throttling rate is adjusted to a second throttling rate based on a queue length of the queue.

摘要: At an Edge Node, a method of handling data packets in order to mark the packets with respective packet values indicative of a level of importance. The method comprises implementing a variable rate token bucket to determine an estimated arrival rate of a flow of packets. The method comprises receiving a data packet, updating the estimated arrival rate to an updated arrival rate based on a token level of the token bucket and generating a random or pseudo-random number within a range with a limit determined by the updated arrival rate. The method further comprises identifying an operator policy which determines a level of service associated with the flow of packets, and a Throughput Value Function (TVF) associated with said policy, and then applying the TVF to the random number to calculate a packet value. The packet value is included in a header of the packet.

摘要: This application provides a scheduling method and an apparatus. The method includes: determining, by an application processor, a type of a to-be-sent data packet, and putting, by the application processor, the to-be-sent data packet into a quality of service QoS data flow corresponding to the type of the to-be-sent data packet, where the type of the to-be-sent data packet is a GBR type or a non-GBR type; and scheduling, by the application processor, a to-be-sent data packet in a QoS data flow corresponding to the GBR type to send the to-be-sent data packet to a modem in a terminal in which the application processor is located, and after determining that a data transmission rate requirement of the GBR type is met, scheduling, by the application processor, a to-be-sent data packet in a QoS data flow corresponding to the non-GBR type to send the to-be-sent data packet to the modem.

摘要: A computer-implemented system and method include a rate-limiting server. The server receives a request from a client and uses an early stage process to search for a rate-limiting token bucket (TB) using metadata associated with the request. Responsive to finding the TB using the first metadata, a response operation is performed. Responsive to not finding the TB using the first metadata, a late stage process is used to search for the rate-limiting TB using server-side session data associated with the request. Responsive to not finding the TB using the session data, the TB is created and associated with at least two search indexes comprising the first metadata associated with the request and the session data. Finally, the response operation is performed that comprises transmitting a determined response to the client.

摘要: An improved autonegotiation approach includes determining that a negotiated rate between a first network device and a second network device exceeds data transfer capacity over a network path downstream of the second network device. In response, a configuration message is generated and transmitted to the first network device. When received by the first network device, the configuration message causes the first network device to limit data transfer between the first network device and the second network device to no more than the downstream data transfer capacity.

摘要: A network element connects over a network to a network node via a member link of a Multi-Chassis—Link Aggregation Link Group (MC-LAG), and further connects, using inter-peer ports, to peer network elements coupled to the network node via other MC-LAG member links. A processor of the network element is configured to receive from the network first packets destined to the network node, to receive via the inter-peer ports information indicative of second packets received from the network by the peer network elements that are destined to the network node, to select at least some of the first packets for transmission at an egress rate that jointly with egress rates of the peer network elements does not exceed a predefined MC-LAG maximal rate, based on the first packets and the information, and to transmit the selected first packets to the network node at the egress rate.
